Your story in one sentence.

I learned to knit when my daughter was in second grade. She wanted to join the knitting club and assured me that they would teach her everything she needed to know as I could not, and had never before, knit.

As I should have expected, I quickly learned to knit! Fast forward four years and my daughter no longer knits, but I have fallen down the slippery slope that is fiber arts.

Many skeins of yarn later I discovered I loved knitting and in the process found a whole world of fibery fun out there. Forget just knitting an object, I could spin my own yarn then knit with it. Better still, I could dye my own yarn... And I was hooked. So here I am mired down in yarn, fiber, and dye and loving every minute of it.
