Announcement   The paint I use to marble my feathers is permanent and colorfast. There are two different finishes for the feathers. One is a "glimmer" finish, beautifully sparkly, intense color and the feather itself feels like a fallen autumn leaf. Still flexible, but not soft. The second is a flat finish, no shine, intense color and this finish still feels like the feather it is.
I use the marbling technique that is commonly used for paper. The art of marbling is floating paints on a thickened base, patterning a design and making a "contact print" on the feather. All designs are one of a kind.
I only use feathers from my pet birds~tested and healthy and of course molted naturally. I use goose feathers occasionally and I know they are sterilized.

A WARNING TO THOSE WHO USE FEATHERS IN THEIR ART: Never use outside feathers that you collect from the ground. Outside birds carry things like lice and other diseases~ they are not be harmed by what they carry as an outside bird.

Never buy feathers on line unless you see the feather you are getting in the listing. Many sellers list the feathers as a group and then say the listing is for 2 feathers etc. Always insist on seeing the very feather. If you have parrots yourself, don't ever bring collected feathers from outside and have them in the same place as your birds.

Always make sure the feathers you are buying are from a reliable seller and they can guarantee that the feathers are sterilized.

The African Grey parrot feathers are a natural fawn gray to dark gray. I use jewel tone and metalic colors for these and the sizes are from 1" to 7" If you are looking for rich jeweltones, and beautiful silvers, golds, and sparkling rich color travel to the African Grey parrot feather section. The cockatoo parrot feathers give me a plain white canvas to marble with fabulous eye popping color, all quite unique
The personality of these two different types of parrots have nothing to do with the original color of their feathers. The personality of these birds, Big, Bold, Colorful, Dynamic and Quirky!

I am pleased to answer any questions you may have, ask away!

I want everyone to be overjoyed with their purchase. I offer 100% guarantee that you are happy with the products you have purchased from me. Payment
I accept Paypal and credit cards. If you want to pay another way, please convo me and I will let you know if it will work.

When paying by Paypal, payment is due within 3 days and if the address on your Paypal account does not match your Etsy account please let me know why and indicate which address to ship to.

.
Shipping
I use whatever shipping method is the most appropriate for the item. I use either first class for the lighter items, and priority for those with weight and bulk. If the shipping cost I have listed is more than $2.00 over, I will refund the overage to your paypal account.

I will combine purchases except for the weighty vintage items to foreign places. Please convo me and I will make a special listing with combining items.

I ship within 1-3 days

I always pack everything securely, bubble wrap, post boxes etc.
For a larger or more expensive item, I use priority mail. If the items need to be insured I will include that cost in handling charges.

If something is lost in the mail~it is my problem to find it. What I will ask is that you will be patient and help me in any way I ask. If 30 days have passed and we still haven't found the package, I will refund your purchase price.
Refunds and Exchanges
I offer 100% satisfaction with the product. This means that I will refund your purchase price and pay return postage. What more can you ask?

This means that to leave a negative feedback because you are unhappy for some reason means that you are leaving a different kind of message. I want to please everyone, so my refund policy, tells you in advance, that there is no reason to leave a negative feedback other than you are being vindictive.
Additional policies and FAQs
I really want everyone to love what they purchase from me. I so appreciate feedback and will always reciprocate when someone does take the time to do this.
