5 out of 5 starsI should have looked at the description more carefully. It requires paper piecing, which I hate doing. Overall, the pattern is fine. The quilt is beautiful.

I design and make quilts. I am happy to make a custom quilt for you in any size or color combination that you would like.
I love working with color relationships. I enjoy studying motifs from other cultures to get ideas for my work. I get many design ideas from nature, paintings, and other artistic mediums, as well as vintage quilts, and other textiles. I prefer making quilts that are scrappy, and contain many fabrics; because I believe that this gives the viewer a much more interesting and pleasing quilt to look at. It also makes the quilt much more versatile; and will help to add a beautiful focal point, or unique accent piece to a wider variety of rooms.
I have a bachelor's degree in art; and have been weaving for 25 years; both of which I believe, has had a big influence in the way I use color and pattern in my quilt designs. My quilts have been published in McCall's quilting magazine, and have won numerous awards in local quilt shows and fairs. I have self-published patterns for many of my quilts.
I am available to teach quilting classes, as well as to present trunk shows to guilds, or anyone else who want to see my quilts in person.

Shop policies
I design and piece all of the quilts myself, and they are quilted by my good friend, and a wonderful award winning professional long arm quilter, Regina Carter of Jackson, GA.
I welcome custom orders, and enjoying making spacial quilts especially for my customers.
I wash all of my bed size quilts before I ship them. They are all machine washable, but washing them does change the texture; so I wash them so they are what they already are going to be when I ship them to you.
My quilts are made in a smoke free and pet free environment.

Returns and exchanges
If you buy a ready made quilt, and it doesn't suit you, you can exchange it, but you will be responsible for the extra shipping costs. In many cases I am able to send some small fabric swatches to you to help you determine if a quilt would be right for you before you purchase it. Convo me about this.
Payment
Shipping
Most items are available for immediate shipment, occasionally, an item is in a exhibit. In this case I will let you know, and ship as soon as possible, but in most cases I will ship the next business day after your payment has been confirmed by Etsy.
If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.
Please convo me for prices on international shipping.
Additional policies and FAQs
When I choose the fabrics I think you will like, I will send swatches through the mail for you to approve. We both need to be careful that I understand what you want, because I cannot do refunds or exchanges on custom quilts.
When we have finalized a design and fabric selection, the clock starts on your 12 week delivery time. I will try to get your quilt to you as soon as I can, and often do get my orders done earlier, but I allow myself 12 weeks on average. It is not only my schedule, but also my quilter's schedule that has to be taken into consideration. If the pattern is especially complex, it may even take longer, but I can do most patterns in 12 weeks.
When the quilt is completed, I will let you know, and I will set up anther special listing for the balance and the shipping for you to purchase. When you purchase this, I can ship your quilt.
