- Lived and taught English in Japan for 8 months and loved it there!
- Have a sweet little newborn and a 4-year-old darling little monster
- Have a wonderful, loving, supportive hubby
- Love old craftsman style character homes (happy to be living in one now)
- Love outdoorsy activities - camping, kayaking, hiking, ..tried windsurfing last year, and would love to try paragliding next!
- Love reading..favourite authors are Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlum, and Dr. Seuss
- My dream trip is to do a backpack/bus tour around Europe
- Was once an ice cream scooper at a fair, an admin assistant in an insurance agency, a customer service rep for online high tech company, a bank teller, an ESL teacher, a purchaser working out hotel contracts for a travel company (yes, I tried REALLY hard to find the perfect job which I loved and would make me happy)

Now about my products:

I design simple, yet stylish gift accessories ranging from rustic wordy clothespins to shabby poem flower brooches. Everything started with personalized wood tags, but the use of natural fabrics, such as cotton and linen, has given me a larger canvas to express my creativity. All designs are hand-printed onto the medium using screen printing, block printing, and heat transferring techniques. The imperfect nature of these hand-printing methods creates pieces that are slightly different, and therefore unique, everytime. Most gifts contain a thoughtful or inquisitive quote and can also be customized or personalized upon request.
