In 2011, after my daughter was born, I discovered Pinterest and spent many a restless evening of nighttime feedings browsing and pinning felt project ideas. Finally I decided to bite the bullet, buy some supplies, and at least make something to make those late nights worth it. The first activity page that I made was a potato head play page and things just snowballed from there. Friends saw what I was making for my children (I had another one during this madness - my son) and asked if I could make them something for their kids. From this, Qute Creation was born and is my 3rd "child" whose name is created from the initials of my own kiddos.

I take a great deal of pride in what I make and try to include some educational aspects whenever possible - learning should always be fun, don't you think? Finger puppets are a fun way to interact with your child while my Mini Activity Books are fun for some education on the go! I acknowledge how important the development of fine motor skills are and I try to incorporate this into my products.

A question that I'm often asked is if I'm involved in education in some way - maybe a teacher or early childhood educator? I'm actually a chiropractor in a family-oriented practice in Ottawa and just love working with my hands! That's why all of the products that I make with Qute Creation are often hand drawn, usually hand cut, and always hand sewn.
