About r0ssie
People wanted to play with my toys, so I let them.
I'm an improvisational, modern quilter and have been since 2002. I love to keep my process fresh and fun by constantly reinventing, moving, and changing my work.
In 2008, I began to experiment with altering commercial fabric using bleach and dye. Then, in 2009, after seeing some of the amazing quilts that Malka Dubrawsky was making using shibori itajime, I followed her lead and added plexi resists and c-clamps to my toolkit.
After blogging about the process, so many people asked me where I had managed to find the plexi resists that I realized that there was not a reliable source of commercially available resists. Working with a local artist, I began to manufacture resists for sale on etsy. Since then, the business has grown in leaps and bounds and I now make shapes by the thousands.

Shipping
I charge a flat rate of $3.00 for shipping within the USA. There is free shipping on orders over $35. I ship using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Depending on weight, items ship using First Class or Priority Mail.
CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE USA:
Customers outside the United States are charged a $12.00-$15.00 flat rate on their order, depending on their location. I am also happy to create custom listings with precise shipping (this may be desirable if you are placing a small order to Canada or Mexico.) I cannot assume responsibility for international shipments once they are sent; customs forms will indicate that the package contains merchandise (specifically, art supplies).
