Hello! Welcome to Rachel Made Company! So glad you stopped by to take a moment to learn about why I do what I do :)
Rachel Made Company was started out of a need of my own to find a better way to store tampons in a way I could easily grab on my way to the bathroom. I was done with digging for a crushed tampon at the bottom of my purse or worse not having one when I needed it! So I went to work and created a case to hold a handful of tampons that was discrete and simple.
I've sewn off and on most my life but it wasn't until my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 that I found sewing to be a way to escape and rejuvenate. It became a creative outlet that brought me joy and excitement during a dark season.
Being creative has always been a part of my life. I was a Graphic Designer for 10 years in the corporate world and in 2020 decided to quit my job to pursue freelance work and my Etsy shop full time.
I love the whole process of creating. From searching for the perfect fabric patterns, to cutting and assembling each bag. Each bag is sewn by me and crafted with care, just as much as the one before it.
Discreet.
Convenient.
Stylish.
