I earned a Bachelors in Studio Art from the University of Georgia. My concentration was in Scientific Illustration; however, I have made a conscious move to abstraction. I still think of my current work as "environmental." It might not always look like cells, plants, or trees, but my abstractions represent communication and relationships integral to healthy ecosystems.
About my current project:
Series, "One"
Thinking about our place in the world and how we choose to shape our microcosm, our daily impacts create a habitual cycle - healthy or not. Instead of simply taking, we try to live more sustainably and responsibly - with our interpersonal relationships as well as with our physical environment.
Reaching out to others and coming back to oneself like the tide centers us. We are more likely to find, or reacquaint ourselves with, our strengths in order to build them up and bring them forth to be shared again.

For refunds/exchanges, please notify me, and send a copy of your invoice back with the item and a way to contact you with your request. Customer pays all shipping fees.

With a money order or personal check, I will wait for it to clear before mailing the order.

Additional policies and FAQs
-All my artwork is created with quality in mind. Practices that are not long lasting are not used - only acid free papers, fade resistant/proof paints, quality wood frames etc. are used. Will last for years to come.
- Knowledge and experience that goes into handmade artwork from a graduate of a well known University
- Time it takes to make the artwork
- Materials used to create the artwork (this can be expensive in itself)
- I get charged business/income/ GA sales tax at 37% of each item
- Amount charged by Etsy for listing and % of each sale
Purchase through Rachel Q. Landers on Etsy contracts the buyer to the following agreement:
"The artist, Rachel Q. Landers Sisk, retains the copyright to all work. The purchaser or owner may not reproduce the artwork by any means."
The terms for different types of items (ex: prints, photographs, originals) will be listed with each item.

Terms for Coupons:
"Free Shipping" coupons are for regular shipping not expedited shipping and is limited up to $30. If shipping exceeds $30, customer pays the difference.
