How I got started

I Studied art at Winchester school of art in 1997 where I graduated with a BA honors degree in fine Art During which time I produced a varied body of work which spanned a diverse variety of mediums including installation.

Currently my prefered medium is Watercolor and ink as it enables me to experiment and create spontaneous effects, work loosely and keep my colors fresh and vibrant.

My work is inspired by my love of nature and animals. I recently began painting privately commissioned pet portraits which has been really rewarding and enjoyable,i've loved all the social interaction and feedback.

I often like to combine realism and fantasy and have been inspired by artists such as Fleur Cowles who created improbable landscapes with animals and floral elements. i also find inspiration in folk, primitive and Japanese art.

Welcome to my etsy shop. All my paintings and prints are from my own original work.
I am adding new items as I go so please revisit my site if you like what you see so far.
As well as paintings, prints, cards and handmade gifts, I also do commissions. So far I have done many pet portraits of cats and dogs but will try anything.
I use recyclable or biodegradable packaging as much as possible apart from bubble wrap which can be reused.
