**Pattern purchases**
Patterns are via Ravelry and Etsy. Pattern sales are subject to their privacy policies. When a pattern is purchased, I receive an emailed copy of the receipt with the buyer’s email address (and username, if relevant). These receipts are kept for financial tracking purposes and to track transactions in the case of a dispute. The information is never used elsewhere.

**Payments and transactions**
Etsy payments are processed via Etsy and I do not receive any personal information.


**RND Newsletter**
My mailing list is currently managed via MailChimp. You can view their privacy policy here. MailChimp gives me access to your email address, your IP when you signed up, as well as any other details you provide when filling out the form. Emails are only sent to people who have specifically opted to receive them. With the exception of essential info that is relevant to everyone, emails are segmented based on what you’ve chosen to receive - if you’ve selected to receive emails about new releases, you will get an email when a new release is published. If you’ve selected to receive emails about coupons, you’ll get an email when I’m running a sale. If you’ve selected both, you’ll get an email any time there’s a new release and/or a coupon. If there’s a new release with a coupon code, the email will be sent out to anyone who has selected to receive emails about new releases as well as to anyone who has selected to receive emails about coupons.
You can change your details or unsubscribe at any time following the link on the bottom of any email you’ve received to me. Emails are never shared with anyone else.
When you unsubscribe from the marketing list, MailChimp retains your data (and continues to give me access to that). If you would like me to delete your data, please email RachyNewinDesigns@gmail.com.

**Custom ad targeting**
Personal data like emails can also be used for ad targeting on sites like Facebook - the data is hashed when uploaded to Facebook, but Facebook will create an audience so that I can show you ads for new patterns, giveaways, and such. Personal data will only be used for ad targeting if you have specifically opted in and consented to this - the “customized online advertising” box on my newsletter form provides consent for this kind of targeting.
You can change your preferences at any time by updating your subscription preferences on MailChimp. You can also email me at RachyNewinDesigns@gmail.com to request that I update your preferences for you.

**Social media sites**
Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc are all subject to their own privacy policies and terms. Generally, I only receive the data you have specifically chosen to share with me or the public (e.g. info provided in your Facebook profile). This personal data is never downloaded or used anywhere.
