Video summary: Hi folks! These are some tips to remove your decal from its paper backing. Some decals are a bit tricky if they are intricate or contain small letters, this will ensure you get the decal off the paper backing without damaging it!

Feminist and social justice-themed buttons and accessories that promote self-empowerment and anti-oppression.

Radical Buttons started as just an idea in early 2015, when we found out from a local bookstore that they had a button press to rent. So we thought, why not make some buttons and see if our friends like them? It also seemed difficult to find social-justice themed buttons online, so we thought, why not make them!?

The journey started with 50 buttons made from designs found on the internet. It soon made sense to come up with more original designs, and the response was so great that we decided to set up this Etsy shop. It took about a month to get a sale, and in the beginning we only had a few items listed. In the next month or so, we worked hard on creating new designs and improving the shop, and started getting more sales!

In addition to selling buttons on Etsy, from which part of the proceeds go to local radical organizations that seek to empower marginalized groups and promote social justice, we also participate in local events to raise funds for social justice causes. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

Returns and exchange details
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will do everything I can to make it right. We stand behind our work, so if the Item is returned in original condition within (2) weeks of receipt of your purchase we will give you a refund for the cost of the item. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded unless a mistake has been made on our part.

If you receive a damaged item and you would like a refund, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your purchase. We will ask for proof of damage and issue a full refund.
We accept Paypal, credit cards (visa, mastercard) and Etsy gift cards.

Once the payment has been received, your item will ship within 1-3 business days.
We ship all orders with Canada Post. Delivery times vary greatly by location. Domestic orders and orders to the U.S. can take 1-3 weeks and international orders 1-10 weeks. Products are lovingly wrapped and shipped in a bubble mailer (or in a rigid mailer for stickers). Packages to destinations outside of Canada will ship via Canada Post "Small Packet" Airmail. Packages within Canada will ship via "Oversized Letter".

We ship your product(s) as quickly as possible after receiving payment. This is usually within 2-5 days (depending on order volume at the time).

Please note that orders are shipped from Canada, and we unfortunately have no control over how long it takes for packages to clear customs. Any tax/duty that is applied upon delivery is the responsibility of the buyer.

TRACKING: Unless you specifically purchase tracked shipping at checkout, your order will not have a tracking number (unfortunately, tracking is VERY expensive in Canada, at least $15, even for very small and light bubble mailers). That being said, Canada Post is very reliable and every order is shipped by airmail (we NEVER ship via surface) so most orders to Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia take 7-15 business days to arrive.

ADDRESS: We verify U.S. and Canadian delivery address with the United States Postal Service and Canada Post to ensure the address provided is valid. However, please make sure you provide the correct delivery address so we ship your order to the correct place. If you have mistakenly entered the wrong shipping address, contact us immediately and we can change it for you (as long as we haven't shipped the order).

Missing orders/late deliveries: Occasionally, packages take the scenic route, get stuck at customs or even get lost. Lost packages are EXTREMELY rare in our experience: in the last 5 years, we have shipped over 10'000 orders and only about 10 have gone missing completely. If your order has not arrived after 30 business days, please contact us. We will, however, not issue refunds for international orders until 45 business days have passed (and refunds will not include the cost of shipping).

All items are inspected prior to shipping for any faults. Minor variations, for example in colour or placement of the design, are, however, possible. Every item is handmade and may thus differ slightly from the next.

Cancellations: We are happy to cancel any order that hasn't been shipped yet. Just contact us as soon as possible after the order is placed.

If you would like to know more about which organizations we donate to specifically, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to share that information.

Our feminism is inclusive and we do our best to make sure that none of our designs/products offend or exclude vulnerable groups; if you see anything problematic with any of our products (i.e. racist, transphobic, etc) then please tell us, and we will do our best to correct it ASAP. Thank you!

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

Can my shipment be tracked?

To keep shipping costs down we ship all orders (domestic and international) without tracking. Tracking to the US is an extra $5 and can be added at checkout.

If you do not choose to upgrade to a tracked service, please remember that we cannot offer any information on the whereabouts of your package once it has been shipped.
