RaeAn Designs by Rae Antonoff fuses word and image to create beautifully unique Jewish and secular art. Rae is a writer and educator as well as an artist, and she strives to fuse her three areas of expertise wherever possible: much of her art can be, and has been, used in synagogue classrooms and retreats to explore the intimate relationship between text, ideas, and imagery in Judaism and the world at large. The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
RaeAn Designs happily offers refunds in the following situations:
- Custom item lost in mail
- Pre-made item lost in mail AND out of stock
- Any item damaged in mail you would not like replaced (please send a photo of the damaged item)
- Item cannot be shipped to you for some logistical reason (international shipping restrictions, for instance)

Any item purchased on sale can never be refunded, but I'd be happy to replace it in the event of damage from shipping, with a photograph of the damage.

RaeAn Designs unfortunately can NOT offer refunds in the following uncommon situations:
- Dislike of final product
- Item lost in mail DUE TO incorrect address submitted by customer

All other situations are happily reviewed on a case-by-case basis if you contact Rae with an explanation and pictures (if applicable)!
Payment
PRE-MADE ORDERS: Full payment, including shipping fees, must be received before item will be shipped.
PERSONALIZED ORDERS: Full payment, including shipping fees, must be received before item will be personalized or shipped.
FULL CUSTOM DESIGN ORDERS: A 50% deposit will hold your place in the custom design queue. You will be notified when your design is next in the queue/is being worked on, and the remaining 50% (plus shipping) will be due upon completion. The deposit will be a Custom Listed for a "digital product" -- you will be able to download a PDF of a greeting card, in case you'd like to let a recipient know a design is being created for them. The remainder will be charged via a Custom Listing for the physical print. Please be in touch with Rae directly to set up the specifics and find out how long the current estimated wait time is for new custom design orders. Deposits are non-refundable, even if I get way behind the anticipated schedule, so please consider your timeline carefully before committing to a custom order (especially from an artist with disabilities/far-too-frequent hospital stays)!
*NOTE: As of Nov 2017, the queue is AT LEAST 6-8 MONTHS long. While I'm honored to be asked to create your custom designs, I also appreciate your patience & understanding, as this is not my full-time job and my health can be highly unpredictable!*
Shipping
Shipping Method: United States Postal Service (USPS)

Upgrades to Private Carriers: Currently Unavailable, except for countries that USPS does not serve or has a very poor reputation of serving (see International Shipping below)

Tracking:
- Orders under $10: Unavailable
- Orders totaling $10-20: Available upon request
- Orders over $20: Automatically purchased for orders over $20. If I forget to send you the tracking number for an order over $20, don't hesitate to send me a message and ask for it!

Timing: I try to ship out as soon as I can, but please be aware that disability and chronic illness can throw off even my best intentions to schedule frequent trips to the Post Office.
PRE-MADE: In general, I try to ship within 3-5 days after the order being placed. I will try to contact you via Etsy message if it's likely to be longer than that... unless I'm in the hospital again, in which case I may be unable to log in. I'll be in touch as soon as I can when this situation inevitably pops up again!
MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS: After placing the order, keep an eye out for a message from me which will ask you for any details I'm missing in designing the piece you want. After assessing the amount of time the order will take to fill, I'll give you an time estimate for completion and shipping.

International Shipping: I will ship to any country that USPS will let me and the internet hasn't already warned me not to trust USPS' judgment on getting packages across their border (Germany, Italy, and Singapore, namely: let me know if I should add to this list).
If I find that I can't ship to your country through USPS for some reason, I'll let you know and offer either (a) a full refund or (b) a second listing to cover the extra shipping charges through a private shipping company such as FedEx, DHL, or UPS.
Additional policies and FAQs
Wholesale (10+) options:
- All pins can be purchased wholesale. Contact Rae for pricing and time estimates.
- Some art prints can be purchased wholesale; others cannot. Contact Rae with the title of the print(s) you're interested in.

Custom Printing (of a current/completed design):
- Almost any current design can be printed in any other format (mini-print, enlarged-print, greeting card, thank-you notes, invitations, etc.), usually within 5 business days. Contact Rae to create a custom listing for you!

Custom Designs: (i.e. completely new designs):
- Rae takes custom design orders on a first-come/first-served basis and can almost never guarantee the completion date of a custom piece. All custom design time estimates are merely estimates. As of November 2017, the queue is over 6 months long; contact Rae directly for the latest estimate update.
