New beginnings...

Rae and Edward Fingerprint Jewellery Ltd was founded in 2011 by the Creative Director Vicki.
I started the company Rae and Edward Fingerprint Jewellery (Rae and Edward are the middle names of my two children by the way) after finding it more and more difficult to balance work commitments with family life and looking after both my daughter and son. I had always been very creative and after attending intensive training in London’s Hatton Garden I decided, with the support of my family, to take the plunge and leave employment to follow my ambition of starting my own business. Creating beautiful keepsake jewellery for others now allows me to be my own boss, work from home and fit my work around my children.
I aim to grow my business into being one of the market leaders for Fingerprint Jewellery built upon a reputation for exceptional quality, product thickness (as I don’t skimp on Silver), excellent customer care and beautiful presentation of my 100% handcrafted bespoke jewellery with hand inscribed text.
The ever growing range has some very different pieces to other companies with new and unusual additions coming soon.
My finished pieces are individually hand polished 999 Pure Silver chunky items of Fingerprint Jewellery, which can feature your own personal Fingerprint, handprint, footprint or pets paw print and are finished always with 925 Sterling Silver findings and chains. Finished pieces are presented with our beautiful blue ribbon, packaged in our 100% recycled black gift boxes and are then delivered by signed for first class post.

Pay Pal is our prefered method of payment.
Delivery within the UK is £6.22 This includes posting of your Impression Kit by first class post, pre-paid return postage to us of your impressions and Signed For delivery of your completed item within the UK.

Impression kits are despatched within 48 hours of receiving your order by first class post.

We endeavour to ensure that your finished items are despatched within 21 days of receiving the impression back from the customer. The finished items will require a signature on delivery.

At busy times of the year such as Christmas, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Production turnaround times may be longer.
Refunds and Exchanges
An order may only be canceled prior to the dispatch of the impression kit. At this stage a full refund of any payment will be made.

Should the impression kit have already been despatched the order may be cancelled but a charge of £10 will be made to cover the cost of the kit and the postage.

We regret that a made to order or personalised order cannot be canceled once work has started on the individual product.

We always hope that you will be extremely pleased with your purchases from Rae and Edward and work hard to ensure your order is produced to the highest standard.

Personalised items cannot be returned once made and delivered. Exceptions to this are:

•Delivery of a product that is different to that ordered
•Where a name or message appears differently to what is specified on the order e.g. it is spelt wrongly
Please inspect the goods when you receive them for damage. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. We will do everything possible to resolve the problem.

Please note; items personalised wrong due to the fault of the customer such as wrong spellings or dates, cannot be replaced or refunded so please double check all information added to your order.

If an item is to be returned we recommend that goods be dispatched via recorded delivery and a receipt is obtained for proof of postage. Until Rae and Edward receive the returns they are the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
Additional policies and FAQs
All jewellery is delicate and susceptible to damage and scratching. Solid silver is a relatively soft metal and we recommend that you remove your jewellery when doing manual work such as housework or gardening. To maintain the original condition of your silver jewellery, polish your pieces regularly using a non-abrasive cleaning cloth. Avoid using commercial silver dips as they may remove the antiquing finish. Regularly check all fittings for wear and tear. When not in use store your jewellery carefully and separately.
