I collect anything with a quirky attitude and a unique personality. I love to surround myself with handmade items, especially if I know who made them.

Woven blankets from Peru, colorfully painted, hand-carved wooden bowls & figurines from Mexico, skillfully cast brass vases and candlesticks from India, musical instruments made from gourds and other natural materials from Africa are just a few of the things you would find in my home.

I especially enjoy giving new purpose to cast-off, so-called "useless" items. Let me show you. Here's a glimpse of my kitchen: A vibrant orange enamelware teapot serves me well as a string dispenser; a time-worn, rusty metal bread box holds my collection of rolling pins; and a big, glass pickle jar showcases my many vintage recipe booklets.

I hope you will enjoy browsing through my shop. I look forward to serving you.

Returns and exchanges
I will refund your purchase price, no questions asked, upon receipt of a document showing that the item purchased has been donated to charity. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Payment
Payments due 3 business days from purchase date. In the event of non-payment, the article purchased will be relisted and an unpaid claim will be filed. Because life gets complicated sometimes, just let me know if we need to reach a different agreement about the payment schedule.

I accept Visa, money orders and PayPal or other types of electronic bank fund transfers.
Shipping
I happily combine purchases into one shipment. Notify me when you have finished shopping.

I use recycled materials to wrap and ship my goods. This practice in no way compromises the safe delivery of your purchase. All items are carefully and securely packaged.

Unless specifically requested otherwise, I ship USPS at the lowest possible postal rate. The shipping quote in the listing reflects this policy. I ship most items at a flat rate I have determined based on the average cost of mailing such items. Alternate shipping may result in an additional expense to the buyer.

I will mail your order within three business days following receipt of payment. You will receive a notification of this transaction.
Additional policies and FAQs
My items come from a smoke-free environment. However, I have accumulated my patterns over many years from a variety of places. Estate sales, yard sales, auctions, and thrift shops are where I find most of my patterns. I try to describe each pattern to the best of my ability. You can assume that the pattern you are purchasing is complete unless otherwise stated. I take the time to count each piece, to iron pieces that have become crumpled, and to make necessary repairs to (such as taping small tears) the pieces and or envelope. Because I am human, I may overlook something and fail to make a complete and accurate description--this in unintentional on my part. If you receive an item that is other than described, please contact me so I may make satisfactory adjustments to the transaction.
