A Face of Change

I've been told that Raghouse International is different, never before seen, innovative, and non-traditional. One of my little secrets is that I don't like looking through industry publications or digging too much into what's new, fresh and coming out on purpose. I love to work from within myself with some help from the old and traditional. I have a great love for the history of crochet and knitting and vintage booklets are the best.

I learned crochet from my grandmother at the age of eight. I picked it up well and ran with it, but it was not until 2000 when I was on the community college campus that I picked up my crochet hooks again. I had done some crocheting in high school. When I started seeing crochet in retail stores I had a mind shift. I never thought that crochet could actually be sold. Most people around me just thought of it as something grandmothers did. I saw my grandmother making wedding gifts and baby gifts. That was it. Yet, my in home fashion influence came from her and I study fashion design and marketing at the university. From there Raghouse International was born.

I had one major goal and that was to change the face of crochet. This was over 15 years ago. I started out like any business baby would, local festivals, church functions, community events. It was not until I entered the global world that many doors opened up. I received over 30 blog features my first year online. I learned so much about selling internationally and from other online sellers and crafters.

Business achievements include being on Knitty Gritty with Vickie Howell, metting Lily Chin, a Nordstrom account, representation by PRB, a popular Beverly Hills showroom, Icis Fashion Collective, and so many more. But generally my achievements are not what's really important. Those have only come by me sticking to what I am passionate about, creating really elegant knit and crochet pieces. My goal is to constantly think out of my own boxes and going beyond myself.

It is important to me that all persons are happy and satisfied with their purchases. This is why I take extra care on all orders without rushing. However there are absolutely NO REFUNDS. YOU MAY EXCHANGE YOUR ORDER ONE TIME. REASONS FOR EXCHANGING ORDERS: NOT THE CORRECT SIZING, NOT THE CORRECT COLORING. IT IS MY GOAL TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CUSTOM ORDER FITS CORRECTLY AND IS THE COLOR YOU WANT. WITH GREAT COMMUNICATION YOU WILL RECEIVE A WONDERFUL HANDMADE PIECE FROM RAGHOUSE INTERNATIONAL. Raghouse International accepts paypal and money orders. Address is provided as to where money order will be sent. If you would like to hold a listing that is not a custom order in your cart, it will be held for 3 days. Thereafter, if full payment is not received, I will send a reminder convo and/or email. If payment is not received reserved listing will be returned and made available to the shop after 5 days.

All custom orders are paid in full like all general transactions. Items will be made and shipped upon completion. (See Custom Orders Below)
Shipping
NOTE: As shipping rates increase, adjustments will be made to shipping profiles.

Raghouse International ships by way of the United States Postal Service (USPS) worldwide. We ship parcel post, first class, and priority with delivery confirmation. We also ship Express Mail upon request. If you would like to ship your package Express mail, you will be invoiced through paypal for the remainder of the shipping amount after new calculations have been made on the USPS website. To request express shipping overnight contact Raghouse International in our "convo" section for Express shipping rates or any additional shipping needs for your state or country.

All "ready to ship" orders will be shipped out within three (3) business days of payment clearance. Custom orders (see custom orders), during non busy seasons, will be shipped out seven (7) days after payment clearance and during busy, sale and holiday seasons, fourteen (14) to nineteen (19) days after payment clearance.

Please allow 2-5 days for priority shipping domestic and six (6) to nine (9) days for first class international. For International shipping, your local government may charge additional fees and taxes. The customer is responsible for those fees and I have no way of knowing what the may be.

Raghouse International is not liable or responsible for any and all packages once they are shipped out from the Raghouse International Boutique. Buyer agrees to pay all shipping and taxes (if you are in the state of California).
