I fell in love with these earrings twice; the first time when I saw them on Etsy for the first time.... the second time was 5 minutes ago when I got them delivered by post. nIf I ever want to fall in love again.... I am sure I will find it at Rainbowgemdesigns!!!! nLorraine, Thank you so much for making these beautifull earrings!! nKind regards, nMe and my proud ears ; ))
I am also happy to do Commissioned pieces when ever possible, so just send me a convo or email if you'd like me to Create a Unique Piece of Jewellery to suit YOU :)
I am so pleased & excited to have finally found a site that actually celebrates items made by hand. To know that any potential buyer visiting this site is looking for quality, handmade, one off pieces - for that something a little bit Different, Special & Unique is just Fabulous!
When making my Jewellery some particular favourites of mine are
Artisan Handmade Lampwork Beads in fact I'd go as far to say I am ADDICTED to them & use them at every available opportunity, especially in my Signature Charm Bracelets. I also absolutely Adore using the Fabulous & Vibrant Artisan Polymer Clay Beads available in the seemingly endless variations of Styles, Shapes & Colour. Lucite has become another Personal favourite as it is just so versatile & lightweight - in particular the oh so Pretty Flowers & Gorgeous Leaves. Then there's the Amazing range of Beautiful Czech Beads & Sparkling Swarovski Crystals that I like to use in almost Everything and of course Fabulous Rhinestones to use in Vintage style Earrings & Necklaces. And of course Semi-precious Gemstones - just DIVINE!
I love Designing & Creating my own Jewellery pieces and get real Satisfaction when something I've created finds a New Home :O)
I use only Quality Lampwork, Crystals, Polymer Clay, Gemstones, Rhinestones, Glass Beads, Lucite and Findings sourced worldwide to create my Quality, Unique & Beautiful Jewellery, Accessories and Bookmarks. And when ever possible I Support my fellow Etsy Artists by buying many of my materials from them & promoting their work when I do.
I am a Proud member of Etsy DUST (DOWN UNDER STREET TEAM) &
a Proud SRAJD member #1373.
All my pieces are 'Unique' I DO NOT make multiple copies of each design or mass produce my items.
I hope you'll visit my shop often to see what's new & feel free to convo me if you wish - I don't bite :O)
Accepted payment methods
Payment is appreciated at the time of purchase & MUST be made within 48 hours of purchase. If payment has not been received within 48 hours I will email you with a Reminder – failure to reply or make payment within 24 hours of this reminder will result in the cancellation of the sale!
(i.e. Cancellation for non-payment).
I will only accept PayPal 'e-cheques' if you arrange this with me prior to purchase (just convo me) but purchases will not be sent until the e-cheque clears in my PayPal account – from past experience this can take 5-10 business days (or even longer if there are any public holidays at the time).
Thank you :O)
Shipping costs are generally given for Australia, Canada,
Hong Kong, USA, UK & Everywhere Else in each of my listings.
As I am located in Australia (yes ‘Downunder’) items will be posted via Airmail to you unless you also reside in Australia, then they will be by Standard mail. If you require your order to be sent registered mail (signature required on delivery) an additional fee will apply & I suggest you convo me to request the cost of this to your destination as it can be expensive to some countries - you can then decide whether you still wish to pay the extra fee for the service.
All items will be wrapped in bubble wrap for protection on their journey to you & then depending on the item they are either wrapped in tissue paper or placed in a small box before being placed in a Organza bag. Padded envelopes are then used for bulkier items & a thin square box for lighter items. I do combine postage for multiple items.
If the item(s) you are purchasing are for a gift, let me know & I can wrap them accordingly & use 'Happy Birthday' ribbon if appropriate (available in Pink, Light Blue & Burgundy). I can also include a colourful gift card which I can either write your supplied message on or leave blank depending on your preference.
I cross reference your mailing address between the information supplied by Etsy on purchase & from PayPal on payment – then I send you an email requesting you confirm the address I have is correct. Failure to respond will delay in your item being sent – as I will not post an item unless I have received confirmation from you. I will post purchased items to a ‘gift recipient’s’ address if requested.
I try to post items within 2 days of purchase & generally will post items Monday – Saturday (except for Public Holidays). Though occasionally it may take a little longer if I am swamped with commissioned requests - but I would always advise you of any possible delays should this be the case.
Postage/shipping for a Commissioned order will obviously take longer than 2 days once ordered, due to having to take into account when I am able to make the piece(s) & then how long it will take to make the requested item (this will have been discussed & agreed upon when placing your order).
Once I have posted/shipped your order to you at the Post Office I am NOT liable for any items that may get lost during transit to you. If you have concerns please request Registered mail or Insurance - these extra charges are then to be paid for by you at the time of purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will not take back an item just because you have changed your mind but if you genuinely think the item is not as described or pictured in the original listing & can show due reason why within 48 hours of receipt, I will take the item back & refund the purchase price minus any postage, registered or insurance charges once the item has been returned to me.
I will not do a refund for a commissioned piece as the item has been made to your personal requirements & I will have supplied you with photos from all angles for approval prior to sending the item to you. If the item however is damaged in transit the same terms apply as above.
I do Sincerely want my Customers to be Happy with their purchases & would hope you would give me the opportunity to sort any issues out to our mutual Satisfaction before leaving negative feedback. Thank you :O)
Additional policies and FAQs
~*~If you want to purchase one of my Charm Bracelets but would like 1 or 2 or more of the Charms changed for other charms just mention this either in a convo to me or in the 'message to seller' section when you are purchasing. Seems silly to miss out on a Bracelet because you'd prefer other charms - so I am happy to swap them for other charms I have in stock.
~*~If the Charm Bracelet you want is not your size please get in touch as in most cases I will be able to alter it to suit you.
~*~If you are buying for a child please convo me to discuss designs, sizing & other things that need to be taken into consideration when designing a piece of jewellery for a child, such as the weight of the materials, the style of clasp & whether all the materials you want to use are actually suitable for a child. Thanks :)
And for those of you who may be New to Etsy or need any help with the 'checkout' process, here's a handy link which will guide you through :)
I will always complete your feedback once I have posted/shipped your order to you & I would appreciate you taking a few moments once your order has arrived to complete my feedback. Thanks :)
***Please be Advised that from now on - I will NOT be making any requested alterations to any purchase(s) (including re-sizing of any piece(s) or changing the charms on a bracelet) until I have received full payment into my PayPal account (Unfortunately I've had to make this rule due to past experiences).
Thank you :)
