Colors no where near as intense as the photo suggests. Pale pink and pale orange. I gave away the skein to a friend who likes paler colors as the return policy for this store is very strict.

Colour is fantastic, just as pictured! The yarn is super silky and will be a joy to work with, I'm sure!

Unfortunately the colour is super bright neon yellow and not the bright orangey fried egg colour. Think perhaps I got a highlighter yellow skein accidentally. Have spoken to the dyer and she's been absolutely lovely about it. :-)

Darker and brighter than the picture, but I didn't expect it to perfectly match. Very pleased and excited to use it.

About

Hand-dyed yarns, ethically sourced

RainCityKnits ☂ is a tiny dye studio located in the heart of Chinatown, one of Vancouver’s oldest neighborhoods.

The hallmark of RainCityKnits ☂ is bright, oversaturated colours. We think our palette is the perfect antidote to the endless grey season here on the West Coast.

We try to source our supplies as ethically or locally as possible. We hope to use Canadian-sourced fibre in the future.

Thanks for stopping by!

I learned to knit in New Zealand, a country with more sheep than people. I love bright colours - the perfect antidote to the grey skies of the Pacific Northwest where I now dwell.
