Welcome to Raine Design on Etsy!
I'm Chelsea Raine, creator of Raine Design. I started Raine Design as an outlet for my creative energy while attending school. Now, with a Master's Degree in Architecture, I am transforming Raine Design into my full-time job, exploring the areas of Wearables and Housewares. I am interested in the way the human form interacts with our architecture and our landscape. Concrete, moss, rusty found metal, and organic objects such as moss and feathers are my current inspirations. I am always thinking of how an unlikely material might connect with the human body.

I truly want you to be happy with your purchase! If you don't like it - you don't need to keep it! Most important to me as a designer is that people are happily wearing and using my pieces! If a piece arrives broken or for any reason you are not satisfied upon arrival of your item, please contact me. I accept returns within 7 days of receipt of purchase for a full refund, less return shipping fees.
All my items are made to withstand general wear. However if a piece is in need of repair based on normal wear I will be happy to repair it. Contact me and we'll work something out. Like I said, my priority is that you are enjoying your purchase!

Payment
Raine Design accepts PayPal, Personal Check, or Money Order. Orders will be shipped out as soon as PayPal clears the payment, or the Check or Money Order is received through the mail and cleared in the bank.

Shipping
I currently ship all small items through First Class Mail, as I have found this to be reliable, fast, and most affordable to you. Heavy, concrete household items are shipped as flat rate packages, as this is more affordable than shipping it by its weight.

Concrete Jewelry Care:
All concrete jewelry is sealed with a thin buffing of wax. I find this to prevent stains, but still allow the concrete to "breathe" and absorb the oils in your skin, creating a lovely and subtle authenticity to the material.
Concrete should be removed when taking a shower or washing hands. Concrete can get wet, but it can become more stressful on the material, especially in cold climates.
Treat your concrete with care! I find it to be very similar in strength to a very strong fired porcelain. It is extremely durable, but not completely immune to chipping or breaking.
