Welcome to Randolph's Scriptorium Tools. My goal is to provide quality products and service so my customers are happy with their purchases. My philosophy is to make your purchase process as smooth and pleasing as possible. I will treat you the same way I would want to be treated if I were the buyer.

I accomplish this by doing the following:

o I photo-document all items I make and sell as best I can.
o I provide as much descriptive information as possible, so that you know exactly what I am offering.
o I pack items with care.
o I inform you when items will be shipped.
o I ship within 24-72 hours of receiving payment verification (with the exception of those days when the post office is just not open!).

Returns and exchanges
Sorry no returns. All sales are final, so please ask any questions that you may have before buying.
Payment
I accept payments via PayPal, and will ship orders once payment is verified. If payment is made via PayPal e-check, verification may take a few days according to PayPal. Taxes will be collected for all Virginia sales.

Cancellations may be made up until the item is shipped. Once an item ships, the order cannot be cancelled.
Shipping
Domestic pen orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or equivalent service. Domestic orders are defined as those shipped to the 50 United States. International pen orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail International or equivalent. Small orders such as individual key chains will be shipped at the seller's discretion using the most economical shipping method.

My intent is to ship items within 3 business days of receiving payment verification, although most orders ship the next business day.

If there is a discrepancy between the buyer’s shipping address in their Etsy profile and PayPal account, the seller will await the buyer's verification of shipping address prior to shipment. An automatic email message is generated to communicate this policy at the time of purchase using the buyer's email address that is associated with their Etsy profile.

If expedited shipping is required, please contact the seller prior to the purchase to make arrangements.

Insurance can be added at your request for $2.00 more. Insurance is optional, however, if it is declined, my responsibility will end at the Post Office (rest assured that items are as described/pictured before mailing and are carefully packed).

If you would like to arrange local pickup in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan area to save on shipping, please send me a "conversation" including the item(s) you're interested in. I'll arrange a special sale listing for you without shipping charges.

Combined orders typically save on shipping, so buy more and save!
Additional policies and FAQs
I would be happy to consider custom order requests. Please inquire. Special orders are subject to availability of hardware and products necessary to complete the order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for custom orders, although they can usually be completed sooner. 50% of the sale price is due at the time of order for any custom order. The remaining 50% is due prior to shipping.
