Quality Fantasy Costuming

I've always been a fantasy geek and proud of it, and my favorite part of any Renaissance festival were always the leather vendors. The sheer variety of what you can do with leather fascinated me -- from the somber and historically accurate to the utterly fantastical, from functional to decorative and everything in between. But when I see something beautiful, I don't just want to have it, I want to MAKE it.

I pride myself on costume replicas of high quality and unsurpassed attention to detail. "Good enough" has never been good enough for me -- I'd rather aim for perfect. Every costume piece I make has been faithfully reconstructed using dozens of reference photos, with particular attention to proportion, materials, and texture, to ensure that they are not only as true to the original as possible, but beautiful in their own right. These are pieces that you're meant to get up close and personal with, whose detailing stands up to even the closest scrutiny.

In the event that...

It gets damaged in the mail: you ship it back to me as-is, I make you a new one and Have Words with the postal service.

It gets lost in the mail: I make a reasonable effort to ensure that your package reaches you, which means tracking for everything, and signature confirmation on orders over $100. If it gets lost somewhere in the system, I'll swallow the expense of making and sending a new one. However, if the postal service has confirmed delivery, but you say you haven't gotten it, then I will forced to conclude that hooligans have stolen it off your doorstep, which is very unfortunate but not something that I can be held responsible for. If hooligans are a problem in your neighborhood, please purchase a shipping option that includes signature confirmation.

Something breaks: UNACCEPTABLE. I am not in the business of selling disposable leather goods, so if you manage to break them, then I want to know so I can make them better. Ship them back to me and I will fix them, free of charge and stronger than before.

You don't like it: if it hasn't been used, you can ship it back to me for a full refund or exchange. This may not be an option for custom orders -- if it's something personalized to the point where it would be difficult-nigh-impossible to find another buyer, I reserve the right to refuse to take the item back.

It doesn't fit: again, if it's still in pristine condition, I'll take it back and either adjust the existing piece or make you a new one free of charge.
Shipping
I always ship with delivery confirmation, and packages over 13 oz are shipped priority. After dispatching your order, I will give you the tracking number so you can follow it (customs number for international orders) and, for domestic packages, an estimated date of delivery.

Almost all of the items I sell are made-to-order, and so depending on the item, this can mean up to several weeks of manufacturing time. If you have a tight deadline -- within one month for U.S. orders and within three months for international orders -- please talk to me before making your purchase. I can probably work with you, but it may incur additional charges for jumping you ahead of other people in line and you may have to purchase expedited shipping to ensure delivery by the proper date.
