Note from shop owner Taking a break from making books to sell. I've been teaching a few bookbinding classes and been feeling burnt out, so I need to regroup and get my creativity back without feeling pressured to make lots of things to sell. I'm sure I'll be back at some point! :)

About

My creative outlet

I've been interested in paper arts and making books since I was a little kid. I finally (!) had the opportunity to take a real life bookbinding class at the Genesee Center for the Arts and Education in the summer of 2011. The rest of the year I made books for my family, books for my friends, and now maybe I'll be making books for you!

I make mostly blank books because while I love to bind them, I have no idea what to put in them. The final product is really a collaboration between me and you; it's finished when you fill it up with your thoughts/dreams/pictures/drawings/paintings.

I also crochet a bit and I like to make quirky off-beat things.

I love working with both paper and fiber. I'm drawn to acts of precision. Bookbinding and crocheting are a natural fit.
