This is Ravelled Knits.

In July 2017 I took a leap of faith into self-employment and made Ravelled Knits a full-time business. I certainly didn’t “quit your day job” as my 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. turned into a 5 a.m. - 9 p.m. on some days. I dabbled with creative outlets as a hobby for a long time…passively making just because I enjoyed it, not really selling anything because I didn’t put much effort into it, but looking in awe at really successful shops. How are they doing that? How can I do that?!

I probably would have just dabbled a lot longer if it wasn’t for my husband. In January 2017 I started designing graphic tees for fun. Orders ramped up quickly and one day he sent me a message at work…“I think you can quit your job and take your business full time”. He had complete confidence that I could do this and he took his own leap of faith on me! I put my 2 weeks in with a company I was with for 10 years, got a “good luck with that” from a superior and peaced out! ✌️

Not one sale is taken for granted, there’s a lot I still need to work on, but I am pretty proud of what this has become. It’s surreal! Thank you THANK YOU to all who have supported Ravelled Knits. 💓

Returns and exchanges

Request a cancellation within: 3 hours of purchase
I don't accept returns

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I do not accept returns (full refund) of an item. BUT, I do accept size exchanges. If you receive your item and need a new size, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item for exchange instructions. You pay for shipping the item back to me and I take care of the shipping cost to send you the new size. Items need to be shipped for a size exchange within 7 days of receiving it.

Custom orders are NOT exchangeable. Due to the personalized, made-to-order nature of custom work, I simply cannot accept these items back. If I have sent you the wrong item, that is a different story and my responsibility to correct!
Payment
Credit cards processed directly through Etsy are happily accepted. Your order will be shipped to the address you select/enter in your Etsy account at check out.

As the buyer you are responsible for making sure your shipping address is accurate in Etsy.

I ship USPS First Class with a tracking number sent to you. I am not responsible for any delay of your package through the USPS. The 3-5 day shipping time for First Class is an estimate given by USPS and during certain times of the year (holidays) it is not uncommon for 3-5 day shipping to take longer. Please contact your post office for any information on the location of your package.

If an order within the USA goes off the radar, and 20 days have passed with no delivery, I can offer you a replacement.

If a package is marked as delivered to your address and you can’t find it (stolen, misplaced, etc.), please contact your Post Office. I can not replace an item that is marked as delivered to the address provided.

International orders will be shipped through USPS First Class International. The customer is responsible for any custom costs. International shipping times vary by destination. Usually it is within 2 weeks - however, again, I can not guarantee a delivery date through the USPS. No refunds or replacements will be made until six weeks of nondelivery from date of shipment has passed. This may seem like a long time, and it is, but it may just end up getting there safe and sound!

Canada orders take a lot longer than you would expect considering the short distance. Have patience if you don't see it at the 5 day mark.

Should an item, either domestic or international, arrive damaged, please contact me! I might ask you to send a photo and describe the condition of the item and the packaging so I can be better prepared in the future.

If an item is being shipped directly to a friend or loved one, please let me know. I am happy to include a gift note if you'd like.
