TEXTILE CARE GUIDELINES

Every fabric that I use, whether new or recycled is pre-washed(either by hand or machine, depending on the fiber content). The batting, which is a 50% bamboo/50% organic cotton blend, is also pre-washed.

Different fabrics have different properties and rates of shrinkage and require different care methods. While machine washing one fabric may be fine, it may cause another fabric to stretch, shrink, or torque (distort off grain).

For this reason, I recommend spot cleaning MOST textiles from Raw Edges Studio. Bed linens and some tabletop items, such as place mats and runners can be machine washed on the gentle cycle.

**Please note**
Some vintage/recycled fabrics may contain small spots or discolorations. I try to work around these pieces in my textiles, but sometimes it can't be avoided.

Also, some new, organic fabrics have slight imperfections or color variations. These should not be seen as flaws, but as part of the character of organic fabrics.

Thank you for understanding.

I try to use recycled plastic and recyclable new paper packaging whenever possible. In an effort to reduce the amount of paper I use, I've decided not to include a paper invoice with orders. If you would like a paper invoice shipped with your order, please include a note at check out.
