About

Etsy helps subsidise my crafting addictions..

My house is full of all kinds of craftiness - bags of alpaca and sheep fleeces, dyes, silks, spinning wheels and so forth.

Etsy gives me an outlet to share my creations with you, and to help you create!

You can catch me at craft markets around Melbourne, and I'm at the Bendigo Sheep Show each year for the annual "omg SO MUCH FIBRE" shop-a-thon!

I'm destined to become a crazy cat lady.. I've recently ordered the crazy cat lady starter kit that contains 12 cats. We will see how that goes and move on from there.

Welcome to raxor.etsy.com!

I stock hand dyed and undyed silk and fibres, spinning batts, handspun yarns, random woolly creations and the occasional piece of zombie or pirate themed jewellery.

I'm a spinner and crocheter and love to create batts to spin with. I source my supplies from small businesses and farms where possible. I love being able to create garments and items from scratch - my kitchen sink is more often than not full of fresh farm fleeces in the process of being washed and dyed.

I hope you enjoy looking around my store!

Payment
If you would like to purchase something in my store but can't pay for it straight away, let me know and I can reserve the listing for you for up to two weeks.
Shipping
Shipping charges can add up quickly when you're shopping online, especially internationally - so to keep things cheap for you and free up your cash for things that count, Aussies will only pay shipping for one item and everyone else only pays a dollar or less for each additional item!
If you would like your item to be sent with insurance or tracking please let me know. I only charge what the post office charges me.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am happy to exchange items, however any additional shipping costs will need to be paid for by the buyer and the original item must not have been used and must be 100% in the same condition as it was when posted. I don't resell exchanged items and it will end up in my personal stash.

I cannot be responsible for import restrictions/duty taxes payable on items posted - I will do my best to assist where I can.

If a parcel is not received within 2 weeks within Australia or within 1 month international, please let me know so I can lodge an enquiry with the Post Office. Domestic enquiries take up to ten business days for the Post Office to resolve, international can take up to three months. We are all at the mercy of the International Postal Union. Parcels lost by postal services are beyond my control - Australia Post does provide compensation parcels they deem "missing". Where the parcel is confirmed missing and compensation is provided, I will replace the item including postage costs free of charge or a refund can be given.

I package all my articles as per guidelines provided by the post office. If you receive a parcel in damaged condition or with missing contents, please keep the packaging and contents, take them to your local post office and report the item as damaged. The post office will assess the damage and depending on which country you live in, provide you with compensation. I will assist where I can.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm always excited to custom make items for you - if you see some "ingredients" or colours in my store that you would like to see together, I'd be more than happy to create something especially for you!

Most of my batts and yarns are able to be recreated (I keep a little "Recipe" book on hand) and if you would like a bigger/smaller amount than I have listed, contact me for availability and pricing information.
