Your work is extraordinary and so are you. This is really an heirloom...a mystery. It is another that will be loved. Warmest thanks for everything! - xoxo

The entire presentation made my day! I loved the scribbles on the box the best. Thank you for another beautifully crafted pair of earrings AND the extra treasures!! I'll be incorporating them into a mobile I'm working on. I adore your work so much- and I adore YOU! Xoxo!

Love everything Priscilla creates. This cuff is pure magic, a divine work of art and feels so good on my wrist. My favorite Etsy artist. <3

About

readbetweenlines: Working Eco-Friendly Artist, Story-telling Thingsmith

That's me, a working artist. And I am self employed, too -- maybe not the best employer I have ever had, but the one that is the best fit! A slow day of good reading, that's R&D. travel to far places, that's research also. A walk along the shores of Puget Sound or a trip to a local thrift, that's checking out supplies. I find things: a beach agate, a bit of sea worn glass, a battered old cookie tin, rusty things, these and more can find a way to new life as something pretty, fascinating or useful, or all of that. Thingsmithing, that's my work, and I love it!

Why yesdearsister? As the eldest and the only sister, I just like looking at it.

I have traveled a road with many turns and curves, but always as an artist. My educatiion is silversmithing and jewelry design, and my current work is in found objects -- I am always searching for the found treasure that will inspire a new work.

Please feel free to convo me with questions about my listings, however, I do not offer discounts for multiple sales or other such considerations. My pricing is calculated taking into account the lower cost of marketing on Etsy, so through shopping in this exciting, very hip, venue, you are already receiving a substantial savings in the price of my artwork.

Payment
My preference is to use Pay Pal for all transactions. I no longer offer reserves or layaway, except to long term customers ("patron reserve"). If a purchase is cancelled after Pay Pal payment, I will deduct the cost of the Pay Pal transaction, as well as Etsy commission and relisting fees.
Shipping
I will acknowledge your order and ship via USPS priority mail, unless you are notified of a change. Please convo for shipping outside the US or for insuring shipping. When I can safely save on cost of shipping, I will refund the balance to the customer via Pay Pal, or US Mail. Shipping for sale items is free in the US.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will refund any purchase you find unsatisfactory. I will repair any breakage without cost, if you will pay shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
I take a limited number of commissions provided the nature of the work is consistent with my practice. I especially enjoy repurposing old costume jewelry, but do not remelt old metal or reset valuable stones. One of my special interests is mourning pieces, either as jewelry or wall art. This sort of commission entails close communication between the artist and client, and it can be especially healing. I respect all losses of one's loves, and this includes animal companions. When loss is memorialized, it can be celebrated as another facet of the inevitable change of ongoing life.
