Love, LOVE, LOVE my buttons! I bought these to give as little gifts to my 7th grade English students. They were crazy about them. Thank you for being such a delight!

I blog about books, and I also like to make things.

My architect parents didn't just like to design things -- they liked to make things, too. As a result I have way too many hobbies. Many of them involve a handmaking process--cooking, knitting, painting, sewing, etc.--but I love designing things the best.

I have decided to limit my shop to a few designs for now, to keep things manageable, but who knows? I'm always learning new things and creating. Maybe you'll see more of my ideas here soon.

My bookgeek buttons are great for book lovers of all kinds, and have been purchased by librarians and teachers as well as bookshops. You can find my buttons at Writer's Workshoppe in Port Townsend, OR and Out West Books in Grand Junction, CO. They have even been giveaways at ALA Annual, BEA, and various summer reading programs!

I also accept custom orders.

Hi! I'm Alethea. I like books. I like to make stuff. I have worked in customer service for 17 years, so I really value good quality, kindness, and effective communication. Most of my customers have been very happy with my items (and if they haven't, I have yet to hear about it!)

My packaging (unless it's USPS Priority Flat Rate) comes from I also love for wooden letters and figures (though I can't knit fast enough to stock knitted letters in my shop).

I accept Etsy gift cards, credit or debit cards, and PayPal. Etsy will calculate 9.00% sales tax for orders from California. If you need to cancel your order for whatever reason, please contact me through Etsy and let me know what's up!
I ship USPS First Class for most packages unless USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail is more economical (sometimes even if you didn't pay for it!). I have posted that I need 3-5 business days to make your order before I ship it, but I always ship it faster if I can. If you want insurance on an order, please request it via Etsy Convo so that I can take that into account. I usually ship through Etsy, even for International orders, so 99% of the time you will get a confirmation and tracking info directly through Etsy.

I've never been asked for a refund, but if you have any issues with items you have purchased from me, message me and we will work it out!
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are usually priced the same as regular buttons; if there is an additional charge we can work it out in Etsy Convos. Wholesalers, I can't price my products much less than my Bookstore Pack--250 buttons for $100! but I will consider large orders if you contact me through Etsy.
