Announcement   Lucky sixpences, cards, wedding invites and bridal gifts by reasons2bcheerful.

Sixpences have traditionally been given to bring good fortune. Brides carry them in their shoe, they are baked into Christmas puddings and RAF pilots would sew them into their caps.

I love custom orders. If you see anything in my shop and like the look of it but you would like it in a different colour, please contact me and I will see if I can make what you are after.

About

A Crafty Reason...

I have been 'crafty' since I was young. Making cards, gifts and pretty things out of odds & ends and junk I found around the house. This was mostly put on hold while I studied for a degree in Sport and Health Sciences and then spent a period working in outdoor centres. After training as a teacher, I began to indulge my creative side during art lessons once a week. My card making resumed and I soon began to realise that I was making cards faster than my family and friends were having birthdays. And so my Etsy shop was born.

The wedding arm of reasons2bcheerful followed my own wedding. I don't think I had realised how much I enjoyed weddings until that point. I now love the thought of my sixpences being carried by brides around the world on their special day.
