About ReboundDesigns

A second chance for well-loved books.

Once upon a time, artist Caitlin Phillips founded Rebound Designs as a second chance for well-loved books. She collects thousands of damaged and unwanted books from schools, libraries, and thrift stores to recycle into novel ideas such as book purses, blank recycled book journals, and book spine bracelets. A lifelong bibliophile, Caitlin now literally loves books to pieces, giving discarded books a “happily ever after” as one of a kind works of art.

I am a lover of all things bookish. The smell, the feel, the texture of books, and most especially being surrounded by them. I want to save as many unwanted books from the trash as possible, and share my love of beautiful books with the world.
