recipe for inspiration

RECIPE FOR CRAZY began in 2011 when artist and owner, Lesley Zellers, stepped away from her design career to stay home to raise her babies while keeping her passion to create alive by starting a small online shop. Which is where the name comes from, because who in their right mind would start a business while trying to raise 3 kiddos, it's truly a recipe for crazy.

It's here where you'll find her design style mixed with lettering and sense of humor to offer a range of prints, paper goods and greeting cards with the purpose to bring a smile to your face.

A BIT ABOUT LESLEY
Artist since the time she could hold a crayon, Lesley has been drawing and sketching since. After taking every possible art class in high school, she went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Oklahoma State University. Once she graduated, she landed a job at a design firm in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she worked on everything from logos to books to political campaigns and everything in between. After marrying her high school sweetheart she moved back home to Tulsa where she worked as a designer and then senior designer before deciding to grow her family and stay home. And as they say, the rest is history.
