Great looking piece. Nice attention to detail. Wood was in great shape. Real reclaimed wood, not distressed new stock. Will definitely be coming back!

Persistence pays off!

ReClaimedReNewed started by chance. My husband and I came across a pile of wood siding when we went to look through an old barn/shed that was being torn down due to the expanding of the highway. I had gone for the purpose of trying to find old window frames but when I saw the pile of wood siding I thought I should grab some. The planks sat around for a few weeks before I decided what I was going to do with it.

I painted a few signs and had a friend from church see them that did Gun Shows with her husband. She requested several different signs be made that she could sell at her table for me. During the 2 day event I only sold 1 sign but it got me thinking.

I continued to build my inventory and entered into a local art show here in Belton. Turns out people really liked them and I got several custom orders that day too. I was so excited and ready to get things rolling when I found out that the hubby's job was asking him (us) to move to Rhode Island to help open a new branch of the company. That put all my ideas and dreams to a grinding halt.

I didn't let the situation stop me completely but it slowed me down considerably. I gathered lots of ideas and inspiration while living in Rhode Isalnd. It was for a short time and when we returned I found out I was pregnant! Very exciting but another bump in the road.

It has now been 2 mths since the birth of my son and I'm now finally getting to do what I love (besides taking care of my kiddos).

It's still slow going just because I'm learning to balance business with family (family with business) but I have been enjoying it a great deal. I of course have to give TONS of credit to GOD and my family. God for the inspiration, talent and just everything! My hubby for encouraging me to pursue it, my mom for being the best caregiver to her grand babies, my sister who helps me brain storm and at times works on the pieces with me and to my babies that love their mommy even when she is preoccupied.

Just want to thank each person who took the time to visit my page and read my story. Hope you find something that you love and if you do not - let's brainstorm together to make it happen!

Thank you for visiting ReClaimedReNewed. I hope you like what you see. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. The materials that I use are reclaimed or salvaged pieces so there will be imperfections which add to the uniqueness and beauty of each piece. I work very hard to maintain a high level of customer service so if for any reason something is not to your liking please contact me privately and allow me the chance to correct the situation.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
I take all payments through PayPal which allows all my customers to use any major credit card to make their purchases and know that it was a safe transaction.

If you are ordering a custom piece I require payment before I start on the piece. Since I work with reclaimed/salvaged wood each piece is very unique and can not be replaced.
There is no refund on shipping costs. I like to use shipping that includes a tracking number so shipping prices vary. If your piece is lost or damaged in transit I will work WITH you and the shipping company to resolve the issue.
Refunds and Exchanges
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your order I will gladly make the piece again (if requested) at no cost to you. I can not promise that the piece will be identical since my supplies are reclaimed/salvaged pieces that are unique. If you do not want a replacement piece I will refund the purchase price of your order excluding shipping.

In both cases I would require the original piece mailed back to me if there was no damage to it - I will cover shipping costs. I will refund customer's money AFTER I receive the unwanted item.

If your piece is lost or damaged in transit I will work WITH you to resolve the issue. Each situation will be handled individually since you never know what can happen.

Custom Orders:

Designing a custom order usually takes about a week depending on how rapidly responses are made. Once design has been finalized and agreed upon I will post a "RESERVED" piece with the name of customer to be purchased. Once it is purchased I will begin work on it. After purchase custom items take 2-6 weeks to complete depending on the design. If for what ever reason the design has to be changed after work has begun I will contact customer before continuing. Please take all of this into consideration before ordering especially if the completion of the item is time sensitive.
