    Announcement    During the course of your busy day, you come across literally thousands of images.
    In order for one of those images to make you pause, look twice, and consider making it a part of your permanent space, it needs to be pretty special. You don't have time to worry about lighting, hues, color balance -- leave that to me.
    When you see that "something special" that's perfect for you - you'll know right away.

    Red Barn Photographs are taken with time and patience to ensure each product is something you will want included with your favorites on your mantle, or framed as a focal piece in your lived-in room.

    4x6: $11
    5x7: $21

    About RedBarnPhotograph

    Born in a Barn

    Because my father has a passion for photography, it would be fair to say I grew up in front of the camera lens. And although memories of standing in our backyard dressed like Laura Ingalls evoke a school-aged trauma memory, I've chosen a head-on approach to face those flashbacks. I was five years old, but remember this day of torture much like I'm sure Ralphie remembers having to wear the Deluxe Pink Bunny Suit from Aunt Clara.

    My dad has always had a darkroom of his own. Bottles of chemicals, developer trays, tongs, squeegees - even the red light outside the door. There were occasions my father would let me stand inside the darkroom with him while he was developing film. I wasn't allowed to touch anything, and obviously could not open the door, but it sure felt cool being part of "the process." Perhaps this was where the bug to be behind the camera began. {My love for photography definitely didn't stem from standing in the backyard on a hot summer St. Louis day where all the neighbor kids could see me!}

    Red Barn Photograph gets it's roots from my home-grown love for photography, and my belief that a good long walk through the woods can clear your head much better than Friday afternoon rush hour traffic, no matter what your stress level is.

    Red Barn Photograph is also a family business. When I go out for a day of shooting, I'm seldom alone and I like it that way. My kids often see things from a different perspective, and I love that. My husband encourages me to "get out of the office" often just when I need it the most.

    We hope that through Red Barn Photograph, you can enjoy a perspective of these United States that is becoming harder to find these days. As we reminisce through moments of yesteryear, a time when things were a bit simpler, may your memories be fond.
