redbrickquilting's Shop Announcement

Well, I'm not sure where the last few months have went but I wanted to take time to update my precious followers and say a huge thank you to my ever loyal customers- online and in store! Speaking of in store- August 1st mom and I had to make a difficult decision concerning our store and we came to the conclusion that our brick & mortar store needed to close so that we could keep up with our on line business and still have some family time (which it seems here is never enough). We have been in the process of selling overstock of our store front business and have been offering some very good deals on line as well. November 15th will be the last day our store front will be open but we will continue our on line with vigor and hopefully faster turn around. I have been super busy putting together some great stash builder bundles in the form of fat quarters, 1/2 yard cuts, kits and even some 20 yards bundles that are going for a ridiculous bargin price! So please keep an eye for the bargins that I will continue to add to our store.
On the home front- little Merci had her 28th major surgery- midface revisal which will allow her to breath better and hopefully get rid of her trach. The surgeons used a RED device (dis-tractor) which has a halo with 4 screws that will need to be turned daily until they reach the placement they are hoping for. She will need to wear this for the next six months. On July 2nd I gave birth to my eighth child a little 5 lb 7 oz baby boy who I named Mazi Freeman Bachman Johnson. He is already 3 1/2 months old and is now weighing in at 11 lbs. He is such a blessing to all of us and even his oldest brother who headed off for Bemiji for college in August is missing him! All of the rest of my children are in school and it's great to have some quiet time from 8 am- 3 pm! Seems like this is my best time to work orders for the ongoing on liners.
Thank you for hanging in there with me through my very trying summer and early fall- I'm excited to promote and offer many new item and our goal is o go back to our roots which were to create and design one of a kind items for sale and share the wealth of new lines of quilt shop fabric!Mark your calendars for Nov. 7th & 8th and Nov. 14h & 15th for "blow out bundles, kits and fabric sales!

Thank you to all our loyal customers for your business and also all your prayers and thoughts for Merci and our family. God Bless you and your family.

Update on Merci Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers, I got Merci home, she is not 100% yet, but is home and that helps, she has good days and not so good days. She is on antibiotics until the scew pins come out as she is a high risk for reinfection in her shunt or the metal extractors that I have to turn daily and she is having low grade fevers again, though I know God can heal her we just have to believe and trust in the Lord.
My daughter had to go back in the hospital and have emergency surgery to remove her shunt she had surgery on the 15th of march and again before we went home on the 21st to put her shunt back in after having 4 dis-tractors put in her head, she has Pfieffer's syndrome type 2 . 3 days ago she became very sick high fever 104.5 degrees and vomited, I was unable to wake her up so we went to the St. Mary's (mayo Clinic) in Rochester and found out she had an infection all over in her body, in her blood , brain fluid, lungs. So they started antibiotics, took shunt out and I am waiting to hear if they had to take dis-tractors out also. It has been touch and go so it is hard to leave and yet I am a single parent , so I had to come home for the other 6 children I have and do some catch up I do some answering and listing at the hospital and try and ship out orders daily when I come home to check on everyone else. So please forgive my lateness and if you pray would you all include my daughter in your prayers please... I will get everyones orders out and try and send a little something extra , fat quarter or something as I feel bad I do not like things to be late.

Thanks so much,
