This is such a personal item, not only was it to contain the ashes of my beautiful Charlie but it also holds all the love I had for him, memories, the devotion he had for me and all the unshed tears of my loss at his absence. How do you convey just how special a vessel would need to be in meeting with criteria steeped in love? It was a gamble that the finished item would speak anything like my heart. I can’t ever thank Robin enough for her sensitivity, great skill and interpretation in producing such a special urn for me. I feel like Charlie has been honoured properly and can remain visual in my world for the rest of my life. I also requested a similar urn to be made for Charlie’s companion who remains happy and with me as I will honour her the same way one day.
