Welcome to Red Charlotte! We are thrilled you've found us.
We are very good at making the finished product very close to the sample pictures you see in our shop. Fabrics with certain patterns, however, cannot always be made to look exactly like the picture in the photo. If you love a certain detail about a photo, please let us know in advance so we can try to match it perfectly.
Please note that the color of fabric may vary from monitor to monitor. If you want to be 100% sure of the color of the item you are purchasing, order a fabric sample in advance, or at the very least, cross reference the fabric with several sources online.
All of our fabrics are pre-washed with unscented, environmentally-friendly detergent.
We accept Paypal and credit cards through PayPal or Etsy's direct checkout.
We know that the checkout system can be kind of confusing. If you're having trouble with the process, just let us know, and we'll try to help.
If we notice you may be having trouble with payment, we will send you a convo or an email. If we haven't heard from you within a couple of days after that, then I'll have to cancel the transaction - but we can always try again later.
All of our items come packaged in reusable bags and make lovely gifts.
Most of the items in our shop will ship approximately a week from purchase. We will always convo you to let you know your purchase is on the way. Feel free to let us know if you need your item right away and we will do our best to speed up production, fees may apply.
US shipments are mailed USPS First Class Mail. Please request special services such as tracking, insurance, delivery confirmation, at checkout and the additional costs will be charged later. If no message regarding shipping is stated after payment, your order will not be tracked or insured, and Red Charlotte is not responsible for any lost or damaged packages.
If the stated shipping turns out to be a gross overcharge ($1.00 or over), I'll refund you the difference.
International Packages go out via USPS First Class Mail.
International packages typically take 2 to 6 weeks to arrive, and they can be a bit tricky to track. If you need an item more quickly, please do let us know and we'll be happy to arrange for expedited shipping.
We will send your purchase to the address listed in Etsy. Please make sure it is up-to-date.
If you live in the San Diego area and would like to pick up your order, convo us to arrange a meet up and we will refund you the cost of shipping.
**Non-US customers please note that all duties, taxes, & customs fees assessed by your friendly customs agent are not our responsibility. Please be aware of the laws and fees associated with shopping abroad that your country deems applicable.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to love your purchase. Alternately, I want you to feel like you give the best presents on earth. So if you don’t like something, just return it within 10 days of getting it. I’m happy to exchange, resize, or refund. Please note that you will need to pay for the cost of shipping to return or exchange these items and/or the additional cost of ordering a larger pair of sucking pads should your straps be wider than 4".
Everything I make is ready to be used whole-heartedly by little babies and busy mommas. I use high-quality threads, designer fabrics, and marine grade Velcro and snaps. Rips and tears do happen though, and I will happily repair just about anything. I like to know my pieces are getting banged up at playtime and on shopping outings and other adventures.

We love custom orders, and can happily customize any item in the shop to suit.
Everything comes from smoke-free, dog-friendly homes (although they don't romp in the fabric!) in San Diego, CA.
