I’m behind in leaving reviews but had to go back and leave one for these fabulous pajama pants. My daughter is really into sharks and loves these pants that I gave her for Christmas. One of her favorite gifts and she wears them all the time! Tara was a pleasure to deal with and promptly answered questions I had, and she was very accommodating of my special request.

About

Handmade clothing with vintage flair.

I attended fashion school and have been costuming for years. I specialize in Renaissance costume and you can find me at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, but I also love vintage, kid's fabrics, strawberries, and everything pink and sparkly. Everything in my shop is something that started from a desire to make something fun for someone I know, which then expanded into "I can make a ton of these for everyone!"

I picked the name "red wine vintage" back in high school when I was selling everything from custom corsets to vintage cocktail dresses. I thought it captured the particular blend that is me- a mix of the old and the new, of historical costume and fun, vibrant modern fabrics, and of course the play on words with red wine (my favorite) and vintage. My most secret desire is for hats to come back into style, for both women and men, and I have a collection stashed away just for that occasion...

You may be wondering why my shop is a mix of super girly cupcake fabrics and also John Deere and hunting. Well, that's me. We live in a super rural area where I need to be a blend of both- that's why I wear my frilly pink dresses with Muck boots.

Everything is made by me! That means everything has its quirks and no two items are ever the same. I do my best to keep everything as consistent as possible, but, you know, there are always imperfections. Most everything is also one of a kind, as in, I only buy enough fabric to make one, and then that’s it!

Ship items back within: 21 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
I will take returns for things that are completely unsatisfactory. I do include very specific measurements in my listings, so please check and double check the size before you order to avoid having to return an item. If the item is returned within two weeks I will give a full refund less the cost of shipping. If you have any other issues, please message me and I will do my best to satisfy your request!

I cannot take returns on purses, oven mitts, and premade pajamas. They are older items and are self explanatory, so what you see is what you'll get. But feel free to ask any questions before you order, if you have any doubts.
Payment
Most major credit cards are accepted through PayPal, which is what I accept. I also can now take direct checkout, which is a schmancy was of saying you don't need Paypal anymore! Payment is appreciated at the time of purchase.

If you change your mind, convo me! We can always cancel, but be apprised I usually ship pretty quickly, so I recommend asking any questions you might have *before* making your purchase.
Shipping
Aside from made to order items, what I have in stock right now is actually in stock, as in, it’s already made. So once you order, I’ll be putting it in the mail as soon as I can make it to the post office. Made to order items take about 5 business days to process and mail.

I typically ship USPS first class or priority unless you request something else, which is certainly fine. Tracking is included in every domestic order, and insurance can be included for international orders if requested. Contact me please if you’d like other shipping arrangements, insurance, or any of those other non standard options that are not included in the regular shipping price.

In regard to international shipping, you are responsible for any customs charges that may be incurred once the item arrives in your country. I'll do my best to meet the terms of your country- but there are odd things, you know. Please send me a message if you're aware of any special precautions I should take when sending something to your country. I want to do my best to oblige! Also, please be apprised that sometimes international shipping takes a really, really long time and I can't guarantee that your item will arrive promptly. I can guarantee that if it gets lost in the mail I will do my best to resolve the issue with you- but remember that most things are one of a kind, and can't be replaced, so that will probably mean a refund or store credit. Each case will be handled on an individual basis.
