Announcement   "One of a kind; one at a time."

Welcome to my virtual studio! I'm a grateful fiber artist who is blessed to live with many sweet fiber producing animals (and a few sweet non-fiber producing animals.) I haven't found an art medium I don't like so you never know what's going to drift out of the studio next. Stop back often to see what's new and thanks for stopping by!

Please note everything in my shop comes from a non-smoking (at least while it was with me and it does not smell of smoke at present), pet friendly (who are we kidding, it’s a fiber farm), studio and will arrive in a whimsical presentation because that’s half the fun of ordering from an artisan, right?

***If you are looking at multiple items please convo me and I will see if I can combine shipping for you. It's difficult to list "ship with" discounts because you don't know which items will sell in which combinations. I try to keep my item prices low and if I get burned on shipping I don't end up making any money, which, after all, is the point. The animals would rather not have to get jobs at the post office to support themselves. They much prefer eating ridiculous amounts of food and making fiber.

NOTE ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: I'd be delighted to ship my items internationally. Just convo me and I will reserve the listing for you, change the country so you can order the item, and adjust the shipping if necessary. Thanks!

About

The Farmer's Daughter

I grew up on a small homestead farm. There wasn't a lot of money to buy things. If we wanted something, most of the time we made it. Raw materials were limited, too, forcing us to use our imaginations. It was probably the best thing that could have happened to me. Today I make my living using my imagination from writing (cperrinowalker.com) to creating art of all kinds that I sell here, locally, and at shows.

Four years ago I chose sheep, angora bunnies, a llama, and an alpaca to raise for their specially selected fiber. I prefer fine wool, and that's what I raise. I want my wearable art to be next-to-the-skin soft. My art yarns are a bit fantastical at times. My wearables tend to be avante garde, the faint of heart need not apply.

It's been hard for me to settle down into one "kind" of art, so you'll find a little bit of everything I do in the shop. And that will change and morph as I grow as an artist and challenge myself with new adventures. Art shouldn't stagnate...that's what commercialism does to it. Real art evolves as the artist moves through experiences and reacts to mediums, thoughts, and ideas.

I'm a big believer in one-of-a-kind. What you choose to wear and own should be as unique as you are and you should be as passionate about enjoying it as I was creating it. That's my goal and what inspires my creative process.

I've yet to meet an art medium I don't like. My interests are varied and I tend to concentrate on whatever I'm passionate about at the moment. Variety is key in art and in life. Your purchase supports me and my fiber producing animals. Thank you!

    Muse

Being a muse is a difficult job, harder then most people imagine. I have to be cute and fluffy 24/7. There's never any down time. Plus I have to provide raw materials (aka my lovely fiber). But I love my job. Thanks for letting me do what I do best.

Please note that if you opt to have any additional services from the Post Office to ensure the safe delivery of your package (insurance, delivery confirmation, etc.) you'll need to convo me so I can add in the extra cost to your invoice. If you do not opt for extra protection (in a perfect world, I know, they'd just deliver it safely) I am not responsible if it gets lost or damaged in the mail (but I will give you the phone number of the nearest post office so you can call and vent.) I'm a fiber artist, after all, not a guardian angel.
