About ReinsandManesCo

Reins and Manes has been a long time coming!

I was born and raised in Santa Fe New Mexico, a hot spot for Western and Native American Jewelry. As a young girl, I developed a passion for horses and began riding at the age of 6. It wasn't until the age of 42 that I got my first horse. I have been riding ever since.

Over the years I attended many horse and stock shows. When I shopped for jewelry I saw flimsy spur rowel necklaces with a ton of rhinestones on them. I thought there's got to be a real spur rowel pendant that is more like keepsake jewelry. Much to my surprise, I could never find what I was looking for. I thought and thought about this idea for the past 12+ years and finally decided I was going to make my jewelry concept happen.

After months of trial and error, I developed my first line of pendants. Unfortunately, I launched my company one month before Covid hit. Who knew that the world was in for a terrible upheaval.

Despite this set back, I persevered. Since that time, I have expanded my line to include pendants, bolos, scarf slides, zipper pulls, and dog collars. It has been so fulfilling and I love hearing comments from my customers. Many say they have never seen anything like this or what a cool idea or they're so well made. I thrive on this feedback and it drives me forward.

Most of my success has been at local craft fairs and rodeos. I know that my products will be a success online as well.

In the near future, I plan to make belts and hatbands. I'd like to be able to offer something for just about everyone. I want to share my zeal for equestrian activities by combining it with the artistic roots of Santa Fe through metalworking and jewelry to create one of a kind pieces. I appreciate your support and thank you for checking out my work!
