About Reneesance
Theatre Geek gets a Desk Job
I started my shop in 2008 because I had moved out of a job in a theatrical costume shop into a job in Event Management and I missed the joy of creating! Plus I can't stop myself from rescuing vintage clothing, and hats, and oh look at that fabric! Well,you get the idea.
I make mostly fancy ruffle bedecked piratical tricorn hats but I love to get over the top custom orders so please let me know if you have an idea that you'd like to see realized and on top of your head!
Shop policies
All of my handmade items come from a non-smoking home.
I do have two kitty roommates so if you are allergic please let me know and I will make every effort to ensure items are cat fuzz free before mailing.
I am TRADE FRIENDLY!
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
Due to the high expense of overseas postage I can no longer accept overseas returns. Please feel free to ask me for as many measurements as you wish to ensure fit before shipment.
I do not accept returns for vintage items and I list any defects in vintage items that I have found. If I miss a defect I will be happy to refund your money if you ship back the item, or we can agree to a reasonable discount based on the nature of any defect.
Payment
Paypal: if you pay by credit card I'll ship out as soon as possible if you pay by e-check I will ship out as soon as the echeck clears into my paypal account.
Shipping
ATTN international buyers. First Class Parcel post does not include tracking or insurance. If you wish faster delivery I suggest you choose the Priority Mail shipping. Priority Mail shipping for overseas has recently gone up by 7 dollars for the flat rate large envelope postage, and more than that for larger parcels. Priority Mail DOES include insurance and tracking, and generally gets to you in 6 to 10 days. Thanks!
