Will sterling silver tarnish?
YES! All sterling silver tarnishes the moment it hits the air. It's one of the properties of the material. While sterling silver will need cleaning and polishing from time to time, there are things you can do to reduce the rate at which your jewelry tarnishes.
First, never wear your sterling silver into a pool or shower. Bleach from chlorine will turn the piece black immediately. Soaps and chemicals will also hasten tarnish. I recommend removing your jewelry before cleaning or applying lotions/perfumes.
Should your jewelry require a little more than a polishing cloth, there are numerous commercial and home remedies available to deep-clean a heavily tarnished piece.
Wholesale availability
Unfortunately we are not set up to be a wholesale business. There are legal issues that distinguish a retail business from a wholesale business, and we are a retail business.
However, we often do run sales for multiple quantities/dollar spend. Check our monthly promotions to see if one of these applies to your order.
Sizing details
Chains are measured end-to-end, including the clasp, and are accurate to within 1/4 inch. We respectfully ask that you know what size you'll need before purchasing. If you don't know, we suggest using a measuring tape to wrap around your neck or wrist until you've reached the right "drop", and take note of the measurement. This will save us both time and money :)
