Renush items are hand made with high quality vegetable tanned leather which is free from chemicals and chrome. I am passionate about sustainability. Creating my leather pieces there is always offcuts, I use every bit of the leather hide. By using recycled leather salvaged from the the offcuts from my other designs I am giving new life to the material that would otherwise not used. Renush contains moulded vegetable-tanned leather corset belts, jewellery, handbags, cable tidies, dog and cat accessories, offcut recycled leather earrings and cards.
During the pandemic it was very important for me to introduce cotton face masks.

Renush leather accessories
I've always had a passion for leather and a determination to be innovative. Having graduated in Footwear and Accessories Design at London College of Fashion I started my label to use that grounding in traditional design and crafting as the basis for exploring what I could conceive of, and do, with this fantastic material called Vegetable tanned leather which is free of chemical and toxins. The leather vegetable tanning process uses plant based tannins not chrome tanning which is very harmful for the environment. I have focused on corsets,corset belts, chokers, necklaces, cuffs and body pieces, cord organizers trying at all times to stay original and ahead of the curve.
During my college years I got interested in the traditional technique of moulding, which combined with vegetable tan leather provides endless possibilities for manipulating and sculpting the hide into different shapes. From this point I didn’t look back - I also started to dye the leather myself, which gave me the freedom to create the colour palette of my choice, and began to incorporate swarovski crystals and vintage lace into my work.
I believe very strongly in using toxin free Vegetable tanned leather and second hand materials, which as well as being environmentally sound also adds special history and memory to a piece, and I make use of every inch of the hide - there is no wastage as all off-cuts are saved and used in other pieces. Wherever possible I source my material from the UK, and all production is local - everything is made in my studio in Brighton.

My current lead time is 1-3 weeks for made to order items and 1-5 working days for the other existing pieces plus shipping. This is always negotiable if you have a specific date in mind - just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your requests.

Returns and exchange details
Customer satisfaction is paramount to me and I want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
Please do contact me if at all you are unhappy and I will endeavor to fix any problems.
If you are not totally satisfied with the goods for any reason, return them within 14 days of their dispatch and I'll exchange them (or refund your money) for you. I can only accept items that have not been worn, used or altered. I cannot refund or exchange on pierced earrings.
Please note that , sample sales and made to measure items are non-refundable, although exchanges are welcome!
Personalized items are non refundable unless it is a faulty item.
I recommend that you return items via registered mail. Please ensure you have sufficient insurance cover especially when returning valuable products as I cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transport. Please note that return postage will not be refunded. Should you be sent a faulty item, I will of course reimburse you fully.

Shipping
All items are shipped with insurance. Worldwide orders from the UK are sent via Airsure and can take 7 - 10 working days. This is not always trackable and depends upon the country being sent to.
Please be aware that customs do randomly select packages to check, especially the USA and Canada. It is advisable to allow 2 weeks shipping and supply me with a contact telephone number just in case.
Additional policies and FAQs
Care:
To ensure your Renush leather product remains in good condition apply a neutral or black leather crème from time to time and store away from dust and direct sunlight when not in use. Belts and corsets should be kept loosely rolled-up.
Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specifications are correct on this website. However, while the colours displayed are a close representation, slight variations in the actual goods may occur due to the nature of the skin.
Everything is handmade by Renush, please be aware that due to the design and making process no two pieces are identical on items like chokers, necklaces and earrings.
Patterns on lace may vary as these are sourced from a variety of origins.
