From collecting to thriving business!

Replays and Things was originally started in an effort to catalog our own collections, and to liquidate what didn’t fit into those collections. As our business grew we realized that we needed to open ourselves up to a larger audience, so we started looking into how we could expand. In 2012 we made the move to an online business model, and since have moved 100% of our business online.

In the beginning we sold a little of just about every type of antique and vintage item you can imagine. Porcelain collectibles and dinnerware, glass collectibles, bottles, jars, and dinnerware, sillisculpts, costume and fine jewelry, accessories for men and women, pins and buttons, silverware and silver plate, military items, and so much more. Since the middle of 2014 we have phased out most of these items to focus on our fine jewelry. In the future we hope to be bringing these other items back, but that will depend a lot on having the resources and time to do so.

Like most we started with the two big E’s, eBay and Etsy. We found out very fast that eBay did not fit our business as well as Etsy, so we focused much more on our Etsy store. We established ourselves on our attention to detail, customer service, a large following, and 5 star feedback on both platforms.

Although we have always done quite well on both sites, by the end of 2014 we realized that it would make more sense to support our customers and our business on our own site instead of advertising for Etsy and eBay. So in the spring of 2015 we started moving to We Do still have both our eBay and Etsy accounts in good standing, and always will, but are in the process of listing all new items on our own site.

Our site will feature most of the newer lots we purchase. On top of our store on the site, we will be adding information weekly on all of the research we have done on our items including jewelry, glass, and porcelain makers marks and dates of manufacture, and how and where we found that information. We also have a once monthly newsletter going out from our website outlining our progress, newly listed items, updates to the research and links section, and what's coming up the next month. Thank you for visiting Replays. We specialize in fine jewelry and guarantee every item has been tested and will be what we say it is. We will always do our best to give accurate information on every item in our store. If for some reason something appears misrepresented, please contact us so we can resolve this issue. We will accept all forms of major credit cards and Paypal. If you need alternate payment methods feel free to contact us.
We do Not use any kind of fancy packaging or gift boxes, please keep this in mind when ordering. All items are placed in zip lock bags, bubble wrapped, and shipped in small boxes. We keep it simple like this to keep shipping costs low. We do occasionally have a few used gift boxes, if you would like one let us know, if we have some available we will recycle them.

All orders are shipped the same or the next business day. We do NOT use bubble envelopes, all orders are bubble wrapped and sent in small boxes to help prevent damage before it happens.

Coins and paper money are Only shipped USPS Priority Mail Insured whether domestic or international and all orders $100 or more will require signature confirmation, no exceptions.

All other items:
To keep shipping costs reasonable, and so purchases will arrive quickly, domestic shipping will be USPS Priority Mail. We have decided to use only Priority shipping from now on. The shipping cost has been split between us, the Seller, and you, the Buyer. Average cost to ship Priority Mail not including material costs(bubble wrap, tape, paper, ink, etc.) is over $6.00. You pay $4.00 and we pay the difference.

International shipping price listed is based on 4 oz package or less and using USPS First Class International rates. If you purchase multiple items and shipping amount exceeds what our cost is by more than $1, the difference will be refunded to you after our labels have been printed for that day. Any and all taxes, customs and/or additional fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Since the laws of each country are changing constantly, please check your country's restrictions before ordering as we will not be held responsible for charges incurred because of said restrictions (example: if an item is returned to us by customs because it is restricted in your country, we will refund the price of the item, but not the shipping cost. If package happens to be confiscated by customs because of country restrictions, no refund will be given). Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery. Upgrade to Priority International available during checkout.

We ship Monday-Friday(If requested, and during holiday season, Saturday shipping is available). Any orders before 11am ET will be shipped same day, all other orders will ship next business day unless other arrangements are made. We will combine multiple item purchases into one shipment whenever possible.
Refunds and Exchanges
We will accept returns no questions asked on all items except Coins and Paper Money, but there are conditions:

-You must contact us within 3 days of when the tracking says the item was delivered.
-Item must be in same condition as when it left(this includes being uncleaned).
-Buyer must pay return shipping, and item must be shipped back within 3 days of contact with a tracking number.
-Refund will be processed once the item is received and has met all requirements above.


All of our items are vintage and/or antique, please remember this and ask for more pictures before ordering if you need them to make a more informed decision. Our listings will always have any information about damage or wear, and pictures will always show these flaws, but we are not without flaw ourselves, so if you feel you have not received the item as it was listed, please contact us for a solution.

If you receive an item damaged in the mail it must be brought to our attention immediately, that day, please do not delay. Please save item and all packaging as we will probably need a picture of it at the least and we may need the item shipped back.
Additional policies and FAQs
-Please don't take our low prices to mean there is something wrong with the item. We work very hard to buy at low prices so we can pass that on to our customers. All prices are based solely on our purchase price.
-All fine jewelry metals are tested for purity and guaranteed to be as listed.
-All gemstones are electronically tested and genuine, but while electronic testing will tell us what the stone is, it will not distinguish between man made and natural stones.
-We do not discriminate by what country something was made in, since everything is tested it does not matter to us. Just because it is from another country does not make it "junk".
-Just because an item is marked does not mean it is real. Every single item we sell is tested and guaranteed to be what we say it is.
-Very rarely will we list something that is damaged. On occasion we may list an item that is damaged, but damage will be explained in description. Some things, even damaged, are just too pretty to throw away or scrap.
-Absolutely none of our pictures are edited in any way. They are listed exactly as they were taken by our small point and shoot camera. We do this because we want you to have the best possible representation of the product.

We try to recycle(reuse) shipping materials whenever possible. This includes using old boxes, old jewelry packaging, and old bubble wrap(only clean used items, nothing dirty). If you prefer to have your items shipped with new materials only for some reason, please send us a message stating such desire when you make a purchase and we will accommodate you. Thank you.

All of our items are purchased, found, or dug up by us personally. Our policy has always been to offer our items as we found them, and only to clean an item as needed to identify it. While this is great for very old collectible jewelry, we have adjusted this policy so we now clean all items before listing except those that would lose their value by cleaning. We recommend cleaning an item when you receive it with warm water and mild soap(we use an anti bacterial dial soap) before wearing. Harsh liquid jewelry cleaners and dips are NOT recommended, especially with inlay jewelry as it could cause permanent damage. We will not be held responsible for improper cleaning.
