If you need your items designed in the same week you have ordered them you will need RUSH DESIGN and SHIPPING, no exceptions. Please send us a convo first before placing an order with a tight deadline. If you have a large order please allow extra time to have your order designed as our timeframe is specified for the quantity we have listed. We want your items to get to you on time for your event. Shipping times do not apply to international orders as we have no way of knowing ship times for various countries. We suggest allowing 4 weeks for ship timing on international orders not including the design time. ALL International orders are purchased as FINAL SALE items that are not eligible for return or exchange of any kind.

We love our customers and are glad you stopped by to look, We are hoping we can add a little sparkle to your special day but PLEASE make sure to read the descriptions of all party items very carefully BEFORE you purchase. We want you to be happy when it arrives at your doorstep.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
ALL International orders are purchased as FINAL SALE items that are not eligible for return or exchange of any kind.

Returns
Our products are mostly custom made for each event so some items may not be eligible for return/exchange. In the event that your product is eligible for return/exchange please follow our guidelines:

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges and to complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We will not honor refunds for orders that are not received on time. These are custom made items and to be fair to us for our time we can no longer accommodate requests for items not received in time for your event unless we are at fault. We offer Priority shipping/Rush design and shipping/design times are listed with every item.

Fee Return Policy
We accept returns within the allowed timeframe for STORE CREDIT ONLY. Returns are based upon owners discretion. Please be mindful that most of our products are custom and handmade designs.
We DO NOT accept returns on packages arriving late from postal delays and weather conditions or orders arriving after the party. Please plan ahead and allow time for delays. Thank you for your understanding.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. All lantern products or any tableware such as custom cups, spoons, forks or knives.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. We do not provide receipts with your order so you will have to print your receipt (provided by email) and include it in the box with your return. Please remember to include a receipt. If your box or label is damaged your refund may be delayed.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a store credit will automatically be applied. You will be sent a credit code to your preferred email address that can be used towards a purchase on our Etsy shop or main website.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items will not receive a refund.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at republicofparty [!at] gmail.com or you can send us a message/convo through Etsy. Refunds are for STORE CREDIT ONLY

Damaged items
We will redesign or give a full refund for items that have arrived damaged. In the event that you receive a damaged item you will be sent a paid return label which you will need to print and then ship the items back to us.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate code will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

Shipping
If you have spoke with us and we have approved your refund, please send an email to RepublicOfParty [!at] gmail.com so that we may send you a return address. You may also send us a message/convo through Etsy.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Payment
Our products are made to order. If you need items for a specific event by a certain date please order 1-2 weeks before your deadline to allow time for delivery and shipping. (3-4 weeks for a large order) Depending on the size of your order design turnaround time is usually a week or less.
If you need a faster turnaround time there will be a rush fee added to your order which we will need to discuss with you beforehand.

Pricing:
We accept Paypal and all major credit cards. While Paypal is the primary processing system that we use, you are not required to have a Paypal account to be able to make payment through Paypal. Paypal will let you securely use your credit or debit card through them with no need to sign up for an account.
Republic Of Party reserves the right to adjust the pricing of offered items at anytime, without any notice.
Shipping
We ship USPS standard and first class mail which can take anywhere from 2-9 days depending on your location. If you need a faster delivery option please contact us for pricing. When paying for Priority mail 2 day shipping please be mindful that it is NOT GUARANTEED. USPS usually does a good job at getting Priority packaging there in two days but there are some instances where that is not the case. Once the package leaves the studio it is out of our control. Priority Express is the only shipping guaranteed.

All transactions are deemed completed upon REPUBLIC OF PARTY's verification that an order has been delivered to the US Postal Service by providing a tracking number which will be emailed upon order fulfillment. Once these tracking numbers have been provided all customers must contact their local post office for any and all status updates.

Late or missing packages (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your package or it is late, first check your shipping date in your email. Then contact your local post office, it may take longer than usual to receive your package during the busy holiday season.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your package, please contact us at republicofparty [!at] gmail.com.
Note: Etsy doesn't hold sellers responsible for shipping delays or errors, as long as the seller is able to prove that they shipped the item. If the item was shipped and the seller has a tracking number, the seller may be able to open a claim with the shipping service.

We recycle items that come through our office. Including but not limited to packaging, shipping boxes, clear plastic, containers, office paper, tissue paper..etc. If there is a way for an item to be reused in our office we will give it a second life. So don't be surprised if your box arrives with a little extra love. It's recycled. :)

Shipping fees include packaging materials, envelopes, boxes, postage, etc.

Order status:
We work diligently to expedite all orders for delivery however lead time for processing does vary.
Items are routinely processed usually within 3-5 business days unless your order is very large.
Business days DO NOT INCLUDE weekends or holidays.
A confirmation email will be sent with the tracking details once an order has been processed.
REPUBLIC OF PARTY cannot be held liable for incorrect shipping addresses.


LANTERN KITS:
When using either the nylon or paper hanging lanterns with mains powered light bulbs you MUST adhere to the following guidelines
8” – 10” lanterns: max wattage 40W
12” – 16” lanterns: max wattage 60W
18” – 22” lanterns: max wattage 100W
24” lanterns: max wattage 150 W
30” lanterns: max wattage 200W
36” lanterns: max wattage 300W

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the selected light bulb does not exceed that maximum rating of either the lantern or the lamp/light fitting which the lantern is fitted to. The light bulb MUST be positioned in the middle of the lanterns, and the lantern should be at least 6.5” (16.5cm) from the ceiling

What does it mean to seal the glitter?

We have glitter on many of our products. If there is an option on any item to "seal the glitter" it means that a sealant will be placed over the glitter so that it does not flake off.

What are your business hours?

Our shop business hours are from Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST. Customer service after business hours will be at the sole discretion of the owner and its employees but not guaranteed. We can get super busy around the shop so please allow 24-48 hours for your email/questions to be answered.

Do you offer RUSH design?

Yes, we do offer rush design. You can select this option from the listing itself or from our separate listing. Rush fees will vary depending on the item. Please choose the correct rush fee for your item.
Purchasing a rush design will expedite the design process for your item only but it will NOT speed up your ship time. We offer shipping upgrades if you need a faster ship time. Please note that although ship times are usually accurate these are still estimates and not guaranteed. Try to place your order in enough time to arrive by your event date.

Yes, we do offer wholesale accounts on a select variety of our items. Please contact us for more info.

Who do you use for shipping?

We mainly ship all items first class with USPS. Lantern purchases will always ship USPS priority. Express/Overnight shipping is preferably shipped with FedEx.
We are NOT responsible for any lost or stolen packages once your item shows as "Delivered". Shipping issues should then be directed to USPS.com or local post office.

Custom and personalized orders

Yes, we are happy to design custom and personalized orders. Please understand that sometimes there may be an extra fee involved depending on the design. It takes time to design and research, gather the materials, allow drying time, pack it and ship it. Every order is different and design times will vary.

What happens if my package is stolen?

If your package was successfully delivered and then stolen from your porch, you have a couple of options.
For USPS deliveries, you can file a mail theft complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. USPS will start your claims process. Reach out to your local police department to notify them of the theft.
Tips to prevent package theft:
-Add a security camera like Ring Video Doorbell. With Ring’s two-way talk, you can tell your courier where to hide your packages or warn pirates they are on camera.
-Have your packages held for pickup at your local post office if you know you will not be at home.
-BoxLock is a smart lock maker that has worked with carriers to secure packages. The lock itself has a barcode scanner built in.

What is the timeframe for your jellyfish lanterns?

Our jellyfish lanterns take 1-2 weeks to design. (Business days ONLY Mon-Fri) This does NOT include your ship time. If you are ordering 3 or more lanterns your order ships priority. Please allow for the maximum amount of design time and be mindful of holidays and weekends.
If you need your lanterns BEFORE the two week design time purchase the rush design fee with your order. This will speed up your design time to 2-3 business days.
We DO NOT accept returns on orders arriving late or after the party. We expect the customer to order in advance and allow time for any delays.
