hallo :)
my philospophy for making and selling art is that everyone should have some sort of art in their lives and be able to afford to own the art they love; i do my best to make that happen.

Accepted payment methods

Paypal Mastercard Visa American Express Discover Apple Pay Klarna Giftcard
Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
i make ALL EFFORTS to represent my work accurately. however, if there are any problems with your order, please do not hesitate to contact me as soon as possible. i will do my utmost to rectify the situation. exchanges/purchase price refunds are offered within a reasonable time frame for damaged or missing works, or works that do not reasonably meet your expectations. it is recommended that you request insurance and a tracking number for a fee, otherwise everything is sent out regular air mail.
i accept paypal in US funds, and cash in USD or equivalent Canadian funds if you are picking up your order in person.

Using PayPal:
When you use paypal, Etsy requires you pay immediately. it's *greatly* appreciated when you adhere to this rule :) if you have any special circumstances that will not allow you to pay immediately, please contact me as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.
i continue to experience difficulties with canada post being unable to give me reliable shipping rates- they vary from envelope to envelope even though the same darned stuff is inside. this is most CERTAINLY an issue on their end of things, i don't know if it's wonky scales or what, BUT if there is a discrepancy of 2$ or greater, i will grant a refund of that amount, OR you can request that it be added to my charity fund, now benefiting Amnesty International.

LOCAL PICK-UP IS AVAILABLE! live in the montreal area? want to buy something and pick it up in person? YOU CAN! simply make your order here on etsy, then email me to arrange the pick up [i like to meet at BANQ library ^_^].

-your items are always packaged in a way as to ensure they will get to you safely and securely! i often make my own envelopes, but otherwise please be aware that whenever possible i recycle cardboard, bubble wrap, protective coverings, envelopes and other packing materials that still have life in them in order to save you money; it's also great for the environment!

-parcels are always shipped air mail [unless you're local!] no later than 72 hours after payment is received. Within Canada, Canada Post delivery times are appx 4-14 days, but sadly i cannot guarantee their shipping times. quicker methods are available at a higher cost; convo me for a quote!

-if you are ordering from outside of canada, please be aware that delivery times cannot be guaranteed b/c i cannot control how long customs holds parcels. i really, really wish i could. :/

-please note that you, the buyer, are responsible for any and all fees and tariffs associated with customs, thanks!
Additional policies and FAQs
all works here are copyright Catherine Lawrence and may not be reproduced, resold, or distributed without my express permission.

-if you'd like to reserve an item for up to a week before you purchase, i have no problems indicating that a listing is being reserved for you. just convo me, and i’ll hold it for you!

-failure to purchase a custom or reserved order within a seven day time frame will result in removal of the “reserved” indicator on the listing unless other arrangements have been made. i’m **really** easy going about holding on to stuff for you if you let me know when you’ll be coming for it.

-all my work is guaranteed for life [mine, not yours ;)]. if something tears, breaks, falls off etc due to NORMAL wear and tear, i will repair it or replace it free of charge (except for those pieces intended to decay)
