Hello! Welcome to Resah's Attic! I am so glad you've come by to take a peek into my shop here on Etsy! Gosh, I'm so glad I found this place! So many unique items to look at and buy!

You know I have worked in retail for a few national companies and for myself in my own little spot in an antique mall; and I always learn more about my products from my customers than I ever did in any formal training! So if you have something you want to share with me about one of my offerings, please share your knowledge with me! I will appreciate it so much! And you don't have to buy from me to strike up a conversation with me, so drop by anytime at all for a chat!

My goal is to offer a good product at a good price. I also aim to treat my customer with friendly respect. I'd like our encounters to make your day more cheerful and happy, even if all we do is say "Hello" to each other! I want to be a blessing to you! Not because I'm someone great and can bestow upon the lowly greatness just through my presence but because it's rewarding to me to be kind and helpful!

I prefer payment with paypal. It is just easier on me since I have been using them for more than 10 years now. If there is a special circumstance where you must pay by check or money order, please realize that I will not ship the item until the amount has cleared my bank.
I ship primarily with the U.S. Postal services. Larger and heavier items may go through other carriers depending on who can provide the lowest cost and what is convenient for me. I seek to find the least expensive form of shipping for the customer's sake and as well as mine. That may mean a vintage book will be mailed as Media Mail with USPS. If the least expensive way means First Class Mail, it will get shipped that way. If a customer's circumstances require that he or she receive the item quicker than what I am offering, I would obliged to ask the customer for the additional shipping cost. I try to calculate the cost of shipping before I place the listing so that you the customer is not over charged and that shipping fees do not seriously eat away at my profit. However sometimes I won't be accurate and you may be charged slightly more or less. If I see I have made a gross error in my calculations, I will contact you about making a refund to you. I have begun making it a policy for me to require tracking info and delivery confirmation for most of the items I sell.

I know how I am when I buy something online, I'm watching the mail until I receive it and am downcast if it doesn't get to me when I think it should. :( That little story was to let you know I try to get all items mailed within 3 days, however it is usually the next day!

I am glad to ship internationally, however the customer must remember that any additional cost will have to be covered by him or her and that they need to be familiar with their customs regulations.
Refunds and Exchanges
I endeavor to be complete and accurate in my item descriptions. However, if you receive your purchase and it is different than the information that I gave you, please contact me immediately. If there is an error on my part, I will go above and beyond to make everything right with you. You are my customer even after "you walk out the door." I want you to be happy with our interactions and with the items you purchase.

Though I don't think I will be selling any software, cd's or dvd's, the return policy would be slightly different since some individuals may copy such items and then try to return them.

Most larger retailers that sell via the internet and that still charge shipping fees, do not refund the shipping amount for returned items. I will be keeping with industry standards on that.
