A Contemporary world chic viewpoint

Hello all, welcome to my shop where I display all the fun, colorful things I dream up. My name is Valerie. In addition to designing the items displayed here, I am an interior decorator and mother of three little people in my adopted hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

In my shop you'll find a variety of products inspired by all that I am which in a nutshell is an African who loves to travel and experience new cultures, someone who's drawn to modern art and all things vintage, who sees the world in white, pink and golds in between, and adores all things linen & lace. Items will not be shipped until payments have cleared.

TAXES
All orders from recipients in Ohio will be taxed at a rate of 7.5% in accordance with the tax rate of Columbus, Ohio the county/state in which my business is registered and domiciled.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund as long as we are notified by e-mail within 24 hours from when the order was placed or before the order has been marked shipped. If the order has shipped a refund will be issued less the cost of shipment to & from you.
Shipping
SHIPPING (U.S. & CANADA).
The U.S. shipping cost quoted is for shipment within the 49 contiguous states. International shipments including those to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & other U.S. territories must purchase in addition to your product the international shipping add-on. Every effort is made to ship all orders within three-five business days, not counting holidays. In the rare occasion that shipment is delayed, you will be notified and kept up to date via e-mail.

Items are typically shipped via USPS. Where available charges Include tracking/delivery confirmation and insurance.

Please notify me via e-mail prior to placing your order if you require expedited shipping, as the quoted shipping charges reflect USPS First Class Mail International. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS RELATED TO CLAIMING YOUR ORDER INCLUDING CLEARING & DUTIES CHARGES.
Refunds and Exchanges
TERMS
Although we do out best to reduce error and variance amongst our items, the individual and handmade nature of our products sometimes makes this difficult. For those rare occasions when things don't work as they were presented, I will work with you to exchange your item or issue you a refund. Please remember that because computer screens vary and can affect color variations I cannot be held responsible for such differences and as a result cannot grant a refund for such a reason. I am more than happy to provide additional information and images prior to your placing an order. Do not be discouraged though, I assure you that all the pieces I make are high quality and have been individually inspected.

ELIGIBLE ITEMS
Refunds are determined on a case by case basis, and will only typically be issued for items that were grossly misrepresented, lost, or damaged in shipment. Refunded claims must be made within 5 days of confirmed delivery. All returns must be in their original/unused condition.

It is your responsibility to provide us proof to support your claim. Proof that may be requested include pictures of the damaged product and shipping boxes, and documentation/explanation outlining the experience.

DAMAGES & LOSSES
For damaged or lost items, as long as the claim is reported within one week of expected or confirmed delivery, I will assist you with your insurance claim for a full refund. It is however your responsibility to provide all the supporting documentation/information required by the carrier to process the claim. Should such information not be made available in a timely manner, I reserve the right to absolve myself from this claim and as a result cannot be held liable for any resulting or preceding action.

Your phone number may be requested to fulfill an order. The phone numbers collected will only be shared with the shipping carriers for delivery questions and may on very rare occasions be used by me to communicate with you about your order.
