About RetroAtticGifts

Sales 206
On Etsy since 2017

Hi there! My name is Raquel, and I live in Porto, Portugal. Welcome to my little shop.

Since I was little I love to draw and work with paper, which led me to study plastic arts. Although over the years that I studied I didn't have so many opportunities to study and explore Japanese art, which fascinates me the most. But then I also fell in love with the Korean and Chinese culture that at one point they collide. So when I finished the course I dedicated myself to studying the traditional art of the three countries.

In 2015 I had a very low budget and I decide to make most of the gifts to offer on Christmas, I shared on facebook and I had a lot of people interested in buying, which made me very happy because I felt a little sad as an artist.

I have been doing origami, paper works and some illustrations to stationery supplies since then. And in 2016 I got sick for a few months in bed due to a medical error which led me to take the time to create an online store and to create everything right. And I'm glad I did it, although language is a problem.

They advised me to try on etsy to make known what I do to the rest of the world and ready here I am.

Hope you like it! <3
