This is a great addition to my decor....thank you
Girl briefly resists legacy, gets buried in an avalanche of rhinestones.
As the daughter and granddaughter of antiques dealers, you could say there was a strong likelyhood that I was destined to be a dealer myself. I was antiquing all over New England before I learned to walk, setting up at flea markets and antique shows before I started going to school, and bidding at auctions before I learned to drive. I took some time away from collecting for military service and a college degree, but not long after graduation I went right back to my roots.
I have been selling online at various venues since 1998. I'm always on the lookout for all manner of vintage curiosities to add to my shop, from jewelry and accessories, to fun collectibles such as patches and postcards, and everything in-between. As you can imagine, after so many years of selling, I've amassed quite a stockpile of broken and orphaned pieces that cannot be used in their current state as originally intended. After seeing what the talented artisans of Etsy can do to breathe life into these vintage parts, I was inspired to start selling them as supplies.
A dear friend and fellow collector once gave me a suggestion that I took to heart and will share with you: "Buy only what you love; as you will see, I certainly have!" I hope you too will find something that you love and I'll look forward to working with you!

Frequently asked questions
Where do you source your vintage parts?
As you can imagine after decades of buying, selling and collecting, I've acquired oodles of broken, orphaned and irreparably damaged jewelry, as well as miscellaneous parts and pieces. As my own personal preference, I do not take apart repairable or wearable vintage jewelry. All of my vintage jewelry parts have either been salvaged from hopelessly damaged pieces, or came into my possession already removed from their original source.
How accurate are the colors in your photos?
I do my best to describe the colors of my items, though interpretations of color can be subjective. I work to achieve the most accurate photos possible but please note that actual colors may vary depending on your monitor or device settings. In almost all cases, the items photographed in each listing are the exact items that you will receive.
I am happy to provide additional photos upon request.
I have pet, smoke or other sensitivities. Where does your shop stand in regard to this?
Smoke - My shop is smoke-free.
Pet - My shop is a pet friendly environment.
Odors and/or chemical deodorizers - I do not deodorize items or apply any chemicals to conceal odors. If any odors are present that cannot be removed, such as perfume from previous owner, I make note of them in my descriptions.
Nickel/Metal Allergies - The costume jewelry that I sell is authentic vintage, 1990s or earlier. I do not know the metal content of any pieces, as many varieties and mixes of metals were used in costume jewelry. Please err on the side of caution and assume that there is likely nickel present in every jewelry item I sell.
How do you assess condition of your vintage items?
All of the items in my shop have been previously owned. As a result you can expect some light wear from use and/or age. I ensure that all pieces are clean and that any functional parts are in good working order. I strive to make note of all flaws that are present and to provide clear and accurate descriptions. It is of the utmost importance to me that my customers are completely happy with their purchase and shopping experience.
How do you package your items for shipment and what types of packaging do you use?
I ship the majority of my items in brand new packing materials: gift boxes and/or bubble wrap, bubble mailers, poly envelopes, cardboard sheets, shipping boxes and Styrofoam packing peanuts. For very large items, odd sized items or large orders, I will sometimes use previously mailed but clean and structurally sound shipping boxes.
Jewelry is shipped well bubble wrapped and boxed with bubble mailers.
Jewelry parts are well cushioned and/or boxed.
Postcards and patches are shipped in archival poly sleeves/bags, reinforced by new or gently used cardboard sheets to prevent bending. As a result they ship at package rates.
Glass, tools and other collectibles are shipped boxed and well cushioned.
