♥ Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

RetroHome is a shop, a philosophy, a lifestyle. It's the way we live - and we like to share what inspires us. We choose to live a rustic existence in a tropical paradise. Our homestead is filled with bees, chickens, dogs, cats, and a handsome tortoise named Bert. We raise children that dance through our studio on their way to play outside and we take breaks in our workday to read good books. We nourish our souls and bellies with wholesome foods we gather from our garden. In our pantry and larder, you will find homemade pickled vegetables, jams and chutneys.
Our fabric items are handmade using natural fibers. We love the softness of linen and cotton as it ages. We believe in washing in cold water and hanging on the line to dry. We seldom iron and it's okay if you don't share our enthusiasm for wrinkles.
We believe in community and when possible collaborate with local South Florida artisans. Learning to weave and naturally dye our own fabric is our newest adventure.
