I’ve now purchased 2 necklaces and love them both. Kate’s consistent attention to detail and workmanship is stellar. It’s easy to see the love she puts in her work

I love these earrings, they are beautiful, fun and unique! You can tell they were made with love to become a piece of wearable art. My new favorite. Nicely wrapped with a sweet message from the artist. I will be back for more.

I love my necklace!!! Perfect color and color combination, beautiful craftsmanship. I wanted something subtle, that I can wear every day, and it is exactly what I received.
These are reunion beads and I will wear them, thinking of my dear friends and family I am missing.
I also received a beautiful little sachet of lavender, an art piece in itself. Thank you!
My order came right away, nicely wrapped and protected, the necklace in its own sweet jewelry bag.
So happy with my purchase

These earrings are so pretty! And we’ll-made. The milk glass is a nice soft touch and different enough from pearls. The floral motif also evokes a feeling of sea shells. Kate, the artist, is kind, efficient and prompt. I got my order (continental U.S.) in a couple of days.

What a beautiful creation! The main beads on this necklace are like captured drops of water with the palest hints of blue and violet - separated by trios of deep blue seaglass discs! They serve as a perfect backdrop for the magical carved bone octopus nestled just below the hollow of my neck. The termination of the beads with a old hand-painted medal of Mary, and a weathered lapis disc that feels like an infinity of grace, peace, and perseverance. This is the best of Art and Energy combined. I will be back!
Reunion Beads - a new story of an old story - and a new practice for a musician-songwriter in lockdown isolation 2020...
January 2022 - In full circle, Way of the Rose (https://wayoftherose.org/rosaries) in Woodstock, New York welcomes Reunion Beads to the Artist Gallery rosary section. The gallery is curated by founders, Clark Strand and Perdita Finn, whose writing and reflections of The Lady's messages inspired hope and connection that turned into Reunion Beads and a new way to share in the circle of humankind.
Raised catholic until emancipated by my driver’s license, my creative journey has been a circuitous exploration to find God in all things. Kindled by the hope that in seven decades on the planet my work as a musician, songwriter, teacher, artist, worker bee, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, friend – and now, maker of Reunion Beads – will reflect the joy and gratitude for my life.
April 16, 2020, in the middle of pandemic loss and despair, I stumbled on a post on facebook from wayoftherose.org, and message of the apparition of the Blessed Mother to the ex-buddhist monk and his eco-feminist wife in Woodstock, New York. I got chills to the floor when my eyes read the last words of the message - exactly matched lyrics I had written the day before. "I will catch you if you fall"... I had been making sculptures and mobiles for a few years, and had inherited a bank of beads from a friend. My hands got busy and moved from sculpture to jewelry. My love for color and texture calibrated and the beads drew me into making wearable rosaries - circles, necklaces, bracelets, prayer beads, earrings and objets d’art for friends and family in my pod. Each person felt a personal attachment with their beads. For a lifelong musician-songwriter in isolation this was a gift. Many colorful and energetic pieces have emerged since that day - and they come fully charged :). Now the time has come to share a shop full of treats and trinkets from Reunion Beads, play a little accordion, banjo, guitar, uke, piano, and then go in the studio and make something new. Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoy my beads. - Kate
