I just do the best I can. God bless all us that try. I can use the typewriter, for parts. Poor thing, was bounced around a bit. I cry. No, not really. Yes, really, in my soul, for all the garbage, and old things, and old people, forgotten too. I'm getting old too. It is sweet. To use these old things. Old words in me, hidden, sweet, small, innocent. God bless.

Shipping
We ship via Canada Post surface mail. If an item can be upgraded to airmail for the same price you paid, we will upgrade so you get your stuff faster.

Given that it is sometimes tricky to estimate shipping costs...It is our policy to refund any shipping overages over $2.00...that way the buyer (that means you) pays the actual shipping cost and the seller (us) isn't out of pocket for underestimating. We hate getting burned on shipping as much as you do!

Shipping insurance is included in the price quoted...however Canada Post does NOT cover damages to ceramic or glass items.

International and overseas customers: Your items can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to arrive depending on your location...Australia things take forever to get to you, we're sorry about that.

Items shipped via International Surface Mail (Australia, NZ, Europe, Asia, South America, Africa) will not be considered missing until 8 weeks from time of shipping.....stuff takes a really long time to get to the rest of the world, it is beyond our control, we thank you for your patience.

Fellow Canadians, for some reason it is way more expensive to ship within our own country than it is to America?????? We have no idea why, but I can ship something to Florida for less than shipping something within my own province.

Items returned to us " unclaimed" are NOT refunded Items opened by customs and repacked and damaged by them are NOT refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
Antique and vintage items by their very nature show normal wear to finish and miscellaneous scratches, nicks, and dings due to age and use. As we define 'good condition' relative to the stated age of the piece, we would expect to see 'character marks' consistent with that age and could include nicks or dings to a wooden or metal object, wear to a painted surface, speckling on a mirror, crazing or manufacturing glaze skips in ceramic finish, wear to a label, and some original decorative trim may be missing. If ceramic/porcelain restoration has been done, it is of museum-quality so that it is hardly discernable and would be mentioned in the listing. 'Good condition' would not include chips or cracks in any glass or ceramic item.

Because the cost of shipping isn't just the price at the post office, we need to cover shipping materials ie: boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, tape etc. So in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible we like to use clean, recycled packing supplies when ever possible....consider if vintage packaging!

Plus we just like the idea of stuff being reused and kept out of the landfill
